I came across Find A Grave while researching my family history. I enjoy contributing to the website. When I started my family research I had only a couple names. I am greatful to Find A Grave and all the volunteer's who have helped me and would like to give back. I believe family history should be free and available to all and Find A Grave is free to all!|
I am currently researching the following family names:
My Family: Wolfe, Phelps, Meador, Paine, Dawley, Birch, Haney, Sprouse, Holcomb, Lynch,Barnard and Bennett.
If you discover errors in my memorials, please let me know and I'll fix them. If you are an immediate family member of someone I have posted, email me and I'll make sure you receive ownership of the listing.

|Larry4270||John E Blankenship|
Find A Grave Memorial# 36766631 My G'g'grandfather, John E. Blankenship died March 10, 1865 of measles. He is buried in the Nashville National Cemetery, Section H, Lot 9250. The US government added John's information to the bottom of his wife's gravestone in Illinois. Note: the stone actually reads 1864. But, since John's regiment did not form until February of 1865, the date on the stone is wrong. John and his wife's cousin, Joel Bullard, who signed up together, died two days apart in a field hospital near Nashville and were buried nearby. Their graves were moved to the Nashville National Cemetery in 1868; no doubt the mistake was made then.

I'm doing a partial inventory of the Linquest Cemetary in Washington Terrace UT. I have added new tombstone photos for 2 of your people, Carlie Wolfe-36372804 and Dora Burkhart Wolfe-37160722.
|Elizabeth||Related to WOLFE?|
Penny, I just saw your info here on Findagrave and wonder if you are related to the WOLFE line in the Pleasant View cemetery? They are my husband's line.
|Kevin Wilkins||Pearl Wilkins (Wolfe)|
It's a pleasure to see the memorial you did for your Aunt Pearl.
Bird Wilkins was my paternal grandfather with his second wife, Julia as my grandmother.
My Mother hated that Pearl had no marker so she bought one in 2011. I'm afraid it sat in the garage until this summer (2013) when we placed the stone at Pearls grave at Hickory Hill.
|Larry4270||John E Blankenship- death date|
My Great, great grandfather, John E Blankenship, died 10 Mar 1865 of measles in a field hospital near Nashville, Tenn and is buried in Nashville National Cemetery. His name and military info were added to his wife's headstone by the military. The year "1864" was mistakenly added to the March 10 date when his grave was moved to the national cemetery in 1868. I just sent you an email with all the information I found. According to records from other sources, they are residing in Bakers Forge Memorial Cemetery in Campbell County, TN. I didn't want to post pictures until I made sure they are the same family you are searching for.

You are quite welcome! I'm happy to hear there's another up-and-coming addict out there! :)
|Mariah, Joe & Connie||Your Great Uncle William Meador|
Sure thing. I just transfered William E Meador to you.
|Andrena's Daughter||Hi Penny|
I volunteered for 20 photos at Evergreen today; I only took 10 today. I'm going back this week to finish taking the rest of the photos.
I will take pictures of Block 75 where you can at least see where he is buried.
This time I will bring both my grandsons; if anyone can find him, it will be them (wish us luck!)
