Wrong Gravestone
I think you have put this gravestone in the wrong memorial. Here is the link

Now I have discovered you have a memorial for my Gr-grandfather also. I'm so happy to find there are gravestones for both of them. Would appreciate a transfer of this one also. After I hear from you I will delete both of mine. Jeanne

I have been informed by Chris H. that the memorial I set up for my Gr-grandmother is a duplicate of yours. I will delete mine if you are willing to tansfer. Thank you.

RE: Olive Irby
Glad I could help. Now if we could verify that the middle initial of "C" is for Carter.

It is amazing how a transcription error years ago can mushroom. It seems that it was read as "G" years ago and someone used that list to enter the tombstones into Find-A-Grave and other web sites, of course using the same transcription error instead of verifying it. When I visited the cemetery I was amazed that there was ever a question, it is very plain and clear, it is a "C." on the memorial stone of his parents, Henry and Olive Irby and on the two stones of Silas & Janes sons.

Fore Cemetery
I see that you have taken some photographs of gravestones in this cemetery.

Could you give me directions to this cemetery from Sun City on Williams Drive about 5 miles West of Georgetown?

Isaac Waggoner
In your Find A Grave record for Isaac Waggoner you state he is buried on Waggoner land and not in Whitfield Cem where his stone is located. Can you provide the source of your information? I am preparing a presentation for the Moultrie County (Illinois) Historical Society about Rev War soldiers buried in Moultrie County and your information would help me complete my presentation.

Thanks for your help.
