Bio and Links
Bio Photo This started with my mother's photograph albums about 1999...flipping through, asking questions, slowly realizing that the info I was learning needed to be remembered well past that day.

Since that time, I've learned so much about my own history and the ancestors who came before me. I've gained an appreciation for them and the local history that I never had as a kid. Now the stories about the area where I grew up - southwestern Pennsylvania - took on new meaning. I've learned my ancestors' roles in that history and discovered their contributions.

My goal is to honor them all with a memorial that I hope will survive long past me.

Sprinkled among the ancestors' memorials are a few for friends I have lost. They, too, have played important roles in my life.

For all who have come before and walked the same grounds that I later found, I hope these memorials do you justice.

RE: Susanah Barnhart Yingling
I found Maurice in the 1920, 30 and 40 census

he married a Kathryn someone on ancestry says her maiden name is Fagan.

They have children Charles, Paul and Betty.

in 1940 Ora is living next door to them and her mother is with her, also a nephew named Ray 16

Do you want the census info I can email it if so?

RE: Susanah Barnhart Yingling
I had two children Ora and Edward L, I think I got that from the Yingling Genealogy but I can't find the book. Will look for it and check.

Edward L was born Apr 9 1886 in Latrobe and died Jun 6 1954 enroute to a hospital in St Louis, MO. He is also suppose to be buried in Latrobe but I don' have where.

I added the death certificates. Susannah's is there twice and it won't let me take one out.

I will see if I can find the Barnhart's.

So does this make us some kind of intermarriage cousins? LOL. This is so much fun.

RE: Yingling Update At Unity
Hi: I have his wife's name as Christina Penrose, I got that from another son's Harry H. death certificate he died in West Virginia.
I know that he had a son named John W. b1854 but I only have his wife's first name as Susannah.
They also had two daughter's Amelia B. and Alice E.
I plan to start checking on John Wilbert.

Do you know Susannah' parents names?

Thanks for updating. Ann

Could you please change the date of birth and death for George W. Yingling in the Unity Cemetery, Latrobe. I have attached his death certificate to the site. He was my 2nd great grandmother's brother. Thank you,
