Bio and Links
Bio Photo This started with my mother's photograph albums about 1999...flipping through, asking questions, slowly realizing that the info I was learning needed to be remembered well past that day.

Since that time, I've learned so much about my own history and the ancestors who came before me. I've gained an appreciation for them and the local history that I never had as a kid. Now the stories about the area where I grew up - southwestern Pennsylvania - took on new meaning. I've learned my ancestors' roles in that history and discovered their contributions.

My goal is to honor them all with a memorial that I hope will survive long past me.

Ancestors of research: Ambrose, Barnhart, Bitner, Buzzard, Coover, Countryman, Dellone, Dutocq, Eacus, Emerick, Grainer, Griffin, Haquin, Harbison, Holtzer, Karns, Kohler, Kuhns, Lauer, Long, Matthews, McAllister, McClarran, McNutt, Mechling, Mitchell, Myers, Nicely, Noel, Poet, Romer, Schmidt, Shirey, Spohn, Stepp, Thomas, Walker, Weaver, Weiss, and Wilhide.

Sprinkled among the ancestors' memorials are a few for friends I have lost. They, too, have played important roles in my life.

For all who have come before and walked the same grounds that I later found, I hope these memorials do them justice.

If I've created a memorial for a relative of yours (and it's not an ancestor of mine) and you'd like a transfer, please ask - via the edit tab. Family belongs with family.

RE: Noel photos at St. Clair
I did not see a Noel on the front of the stone. That is why I made a note that is was beside Sam & Sophia . I did not want then to get lost

RE: Noel photos at St. Clair
I do know that they were in section P next to Samuel & Sabina Noel.

In that section was Abram, 2 Bertha's , Carrie, Emily D., Eva, Harry, John , Mary , Robert, Ruth, Sabina, Samuel, and Sarah

How that helps.

I removed the double entry. I've found from time to time, the find a grave server enters a person twice or posts a photo twice with one entry. I've had it happen numerous time, even using different computers.

You're very welcome for the photo. So, you're coming to PA in the fall? We'll have to meet at St. James! Things are fine in PA. Besides the drought, hope all is well in CA! Barbara
