I have always been intrigued with the rich history found in cemeteries. My mom always took me (since I was a very small child) with her to put flowers on family members' graves and I suppose that started my love of cemeteries. I am a licensed funeral director/embalmer in MO and IL. I am currently working to add records to Oak Hill by going through interment books and by walking the cemetery with my camera. I am about 99% of the way there! I have personally photographed all of the markers in the gardens and have photographed all the grounds and am now uploading pics from the mausoleum. I plan on re-walking the cem for clean up and pics I may have missed as well as trying to figure out to whom the illegibles belong. I am not actively linking any family members even if it is obvious from the marker. I don't agree with guessing relationship but will transfer records so you can do it if you request it. My goal is to complete this cemetery as accurately as I can!
I am currently a funeral director at Valhalla in Belleville, IL so if you need help, let me know. I will probably be adding many Valhalla records in the future!

Thank you so very much for photographing the headstone and creating the memorials for Noah and Georgia Henley. I really appreciate all the work you have done to memorialize our family members, as well as many other people. Could you please transfer their memorial management to us?
