My sister, Pat Ramsey, and I started taking cemetery photos years ago. We would photograph any cemetery we could find, especialy older ones in an effort to save the ones that were crumbling or being plowed under. (There were many like that.) We identified ourselves as "Cemetery Sisters 1 & 2". We went together with our husbands (Bob & Larry) for about 10 years, going on cemetery "vacations" from Washington and thru out the west & mid-west. We ceased our photography trips for about 6 years after my husband passed in 2008. For the last 6 years, my 2nd husband (Jim), has been my "cemetery companion" as we strive to keep Sunset Memorial Cemetery up-to-date. It is a labor of love.
I am willing to transfer memorials to family members who desire to take care of their family member's memorials.
