Most of these memorials are based on personal research from my family history (birth, death, marriage, military & other records). Other information was taken from grave markers or obituaries that I've discovered over the years. Cannot guarantee the accuracy of all these memorials, but believe most of them to be correct.
Will be glad to make memorial transfers upon request that is if related. Would very much like to hear from you and should you have any additional information and if there are any corrections to be made, please let me know.

|Michael Moose||Jones Family|
Thank you very much for all the information you have posted on the Jones family.
I have been working from "Several Generations of Joneses" (a manuscript my grandmother created) that traces the Moose family line through the Boswells back to James David Jones.
If this information is of interest to you, and you provide an address, I will send it for your review and comment.
I am researching my family tree. My gr gr grandfather, last name is Boddie I have hit a brick wall. Would very much like to correspond with you. I have found "Boddie" family tree in a family member file with some of the same Boddie members you show on Find a Grave. Please email me at email@example.com. I am also a "GA girl" by birth.

|Nancy Cornelius||Alice Hunt|
I saw where you maintain this memorial. Wanted to share some information I found. My grandmother was best friends with Mrs. Ora Hunt, so I set out to find the Hunt family at Memory Hill. I was not able to find Alice and was told that she was on the corner of the Hunt family plot. I have found her stone with Edgar, WD, Emma, Mildred, and Elmo Matthews. The Matthews and Hunts are in the same block of the cemetery. Not sure why her stone is with the Matthews.
|Mary Harper||RE: Benjamin Franklin Rivers #22571922|
I don't know who his parents are. They are not James William Rivers & Emily Jane Harper. They had five children, but no Benj. Franklin. James William married a second time to Caroline Madtilda Thayer Milam. I don't have Benjamin Franklin Rivers in my Ancestry index.
|Mary Harper||Steven W. Lowrey & Sherrill Lynn Martin|
His name is Steven as you had it, but the last name is Lowrey. I've found it with both spellings, but Steven is correct as on the wedding announcement. They were married 27 Oct 1979 and divorced 2 Mar 1987.
|Mary Harper||RE: Clinton Lowery, born ?, TX|
Child of Stephen W. Lowrey & Sherrill Lynn Martin.
Clinton Earl Lowrey b. 1 Nov 1982
Caitlin Caldwell Farar b. 10 Feb 1984 (Not married)
Ella Shae Lowrey b. 17 Oct 2011
Emma b. 3 Mar 2013
|Deborah Shelton Wood||Thank you!|
Edward and Abigail Jones...thank you for the transfers! Debbie
Just wanted to randomly say 'thank you' for all you've done on this site. During my research, I see a lot of the things you have posted. I appreciate it. :) ... Cathy

Thank you for your response.
I only find one J. Chappell in Company D of the 14th Alabama, so I am guessing the different references I have found are for the same man.
The records I have found at Alabama Department of Archives and History and the National Archives refer to him as J. P. Chappell, J. Chappell, John Chappell, and even one G. P. Chappell. All are in the a couple of files at the National Archives.
The man who wrote the history of the 14th Alabama, Marshall B. Hurst, identified him as J. Chappell, in Company D.
I know from my research that a lot of errors were made with spellings and initials of individuals. I would appreciate any information about his Civil War service that you are willing to share.
Thank you for considering my request.

I would like permission to use the photo of John P. Chappell in a book about the 14th Alabama. I would also like to know the source of the picture.
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
