Family & Friends,

I will be glad to make corrections, additions and add links.

I am not collecting grave-sites, so if I've posted a memorial for someone who belongs to you, then I would be happy to make a transfer.

Please note that copying any of my information and photographs, then posting it on other websites (i.e.- Ancestry.com) makes me quite unhappy. Please help Mr. Terry from being unhappy. Thank you. #:^)

Much success to all.

Best Wishes,
Terry ♣

Samuel Porter, Jr's memorial
Hi Terry!

Samuel Porter, Jr.'s wife, Susannah Moore, was my 2nd great grandfather's sister. It is the only sibling I am able to link to him in documentation.

I'm very interested in Samuel's date of death. I know the last record I could find of him was in 1880. What is the source of his death date? Is there an actual stone somewhere (I noticed no cemetery or burial info is recorded in your memorial to him).

Also, what is the record for Susannah's death?

I have looked for wills in Wayne County to no avail....any info or leads appreciated!

Best,
Pamela Moore

Memorial #110892304
Hi Terry,

I was wondering if you would transfer the memorial for Cletus L. McCauley (#110892304) located at Holly Hill Memorial Cemetery to me? He was my grandfather.

Thanks, Sharon

Change made on obit....
Thanks Terry for changing obit on Charles B. Kincaid newspaper article to read "Gerald" instead of wrong spelling/name, where siblings were listed as survivors.

RE: Richard B. Smith -grave location
Glad you were able to understand the map. Where are you coming from? I live in Honesdale, and we have yet to have any snow this winter....the winter wonderland has just not happened (yet). The courthouse is still there, along with Richards home, I'm sure he had a wonderful view looking out the window thru the park (it's very small, no comparison to the "other" Central Park, lol.

If you do plan on visiting, you should also drive up to Irving Cliff (lots of history involving Washington Irving), as well as stopping by to see the Stourbridge Lion.

Just curious....are you related to Mr. Smith? And / or if you have any other family information, I would be happy to edit his memorial.

Best to you!
Caz

PS. You have a very distinctive writing style that is an enjoyment to read! :)

RE: Richard B. Smith -grave location
Sorry for the miscommunication - I posted the picture on Richard's findagrave memorial (# 118424776). I have never been able to obtain an actual plot map for the cemetery, so it is just a general google map.

Let me know if you have problems viewing. Tomorrow *Jan 1st* - is my birthday, so hoping to celebrate well tonight! Hoping I remember to duck when I see falling firework debris!! lol

Best to you & Happy New Year!

RE: Richard B. Smith -grave location
I've attached a map which shows the general location of his headstone. If I remember correctly, there are other Smith family members around him, as well.

Happy New Year!

RE: Joseph Alexander Frazier
he did not have a marker but we his gg children each gave 5 dollars to get him a marker. We are a very large family. His wife Mary E Mooney is buried on the hill, there is a set of white marble steps with a pine tree on each side. She is about 3 rows back. There are a lot of Fraziers in Oak lawn. This is my mother's family. Mary Ethel Frazier/Fisher
