I fell in love with cemeteries thru my genealogy endeavors, since headstones are often the only record of birth and death dates that can be found for a person. Please note that I do this to help others who are searching for their family members and as such you have my permission to use any photos which I post on Find-A-Grave in your personal or online family histories. I hope that something that I've posted helps you find that elusive family member.
RE: Thank You! Will do! I've been looking more for new memorials rather than edits but I might as well do both. I was afraid I might be bothering too many people by sending a lot of edits so I seldom sent them. Thank you for giving me a green light for editions.
I've been busy this week with the honey-do list and running errands for my wife. However, next week I will hit the newsprint hard, so look for a few to come your way.
Thomas Withers Chinn The Q's of birth is not correct according to Wiki. His bio is @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Withers_Chinn Born November 22, 1791 Cynthiana, Harrison, Kentucky Died May 22, 1852 (aged 60) West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana Political party
21690343 Honorable Thomas "T. W." Withers Chinn Also there is no Honorable in Find A Grave. It should be.
I am a member of Wiki and used it to verified other data when birth, death document are not available. If you know of a birth document, I will change it to the correct date. Because 99.9% of data reflect the date of the 20th in ancestry.com
RE: Updates Sue, I was working on the Cassel cemetery linking families together today and now I can't remember who it was. Thanks for the photos you added there. I copied some of those and added them to my Ancestry Tree giving you credit. I'll make sure to send a new edit when I find the request again. Pat
