Hey everyone! I see the correction you have sent me for the Vought families and I have saved the emails so when I get a chance I can get those corrected for you. I have no forgot I was finishing graduate school. So no worries as I did get them and wasn't ignoring them! Thank You!

My Nanna and I used to spend a lot of time talking about family and visiting the family plots in the cemetery by her house. I have over 150 relatives buried in Wheatland Cemetery. Now I search for my family alone. I like to add records when I can so others don't have to search as hard as the ones before them. I will gladly transfer ownership of any records for unrelated people I have entered that may belong to you!

Bridget Hayes Barnett
I was absolutely fascinated to see information previously unknown to me or my family about my relative Bridget Hayes Barnett, including a photo of her family. Can you tell me where you found this information? Was it provided by another relative of Bridget? Bridget was a great grand aunt of mine. BTW, her father's name was Bernard Hayes. Thank you,

Bob Hayes

Unconnected Swanks
Oh, I'm sure we are connected somehow. Maybe just back further. Thanks for trying to help with the OK Swanks, though.

Mattie Swank
Mattie Swank was a daughter of Joshua Brinton Swank and Eliza Patterson. They lived in OK, also, but I can't find their burial site. My great-grandfather was Mattie's brother, Harvey. He lived in OK for a time, but moved to Mercer County, IL with his family. I actually knew him when I was small. (He seemed larger than life to me!) Since Eliza was a Cherokee, I believe there is a possibility she and Joshua were buried on the Indian Nation lands somewhere, but I find no records whatsoever. It does appear that Joshua outlived his beloved Eliza, because he is shown on the 1920 census, living with another son. Mattie just vanished, and letters to and about her stopped. I can't find a death date, as all that seems to remain is this little memorial marker.

Swanks in Oklahoma
Thank you so much for adding some of the Swank family at the Dewey, Washington, OK cemetery records! My great-grands aren't on the list, but some of their family is. Do you know if all the Swanks buried at this cemetery (who still have headstones) are recorded? If so, do you know of another cemetery in that area that might have been used around 1920-1930?

William Daniel
Michelle, thanks so much for writing. I have added William's birth and death places to his memorial. Would you mind if I included your family story of how little William was carried to Oklahoma? Such stories bring everything to life!

What a wonderful photo you've posted to the memorial. I haven't clicked on the photo yet to see who's who. I bet you have quite a few more photos.

I'm not related to your family. However, I have discovered a need to record on Find a Grave quite a few burials of Roger Mills County. Many graves are listed there already; many are not. That's how I came across the Daniel family.

Can you tell me anything about Bar X in Roger Mills County? William lived there for a time. I'm guessing it is a ranch or a township.

Good to hear from you.

David

Thanks for posting the Photo there never was a marker at their grave or it washed a way in a flood. I do hope to place a marker before i die so other family can find the grave in the future. Charles

John S. Vought
Michelle,
Do you have any more information on John Snyder Vought? I really appreciate all the work you have done. I note that the headstone says John S. Vought. Do you know the source for the middle name Snyder? I'd be grateful for any help. Maggie

RE: Swank
Hi
I made the change you ask for. Jack was my Granny's former husband. Would you like me to transfer his page to you?
