Wish I would have known about this site years back. My wife and I have been in cemeteries all over the country from Alaska to Arkansas and New Mexico to New Hampshire. We have over 19,000 names in our family tree. I have a passion for doing this and would be glad to help anyone that I can. If I have something on here you would like removed I will do it.|
I will be happy to transfer a memorial to you if your relation is closer than ours. Please include your Findagrave number, the name and number of memorial, and the cemetery where the memorial is located.
I have become the Family Historian and the keeper of records. It is a life-long journey that continues to fascinate, amaze and sometimes puzzle me.. but the path has taught me the value of patience and perseverance - both valuable life lessons.
I also do a web page for the little town of Indianola Nebraska that I live in. The site is http://indianolane.com

It is my pleasure

Bill, I am the Research Assistant at Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum in Miami, Az. As I am digitizing old newspapers, I am saving the obituaries and adding the information to findagrave. So as I find them, I will add them. Also, if you find some that I've written, feel free to send me a message and ask for the actual obituary. Findagrave doesn't like for anyone to post the actual obituary, even though the copyright laws apply only for 90 years.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your grave marker and/or cemetery photos on my family website. Check it out at www.freienmuth-shortridge.com/shortridge/cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

Memorial number 40337645. You noted burial in plot 366 in the Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul, NE. I requested a photo and the volunteer said they could not locate a marker or stone there. Can you check your information on the plot number.

Somewhere along the line I missed the email telling me that you had transferred Amanda Tracy's memorial to me. I am sincerely grateful to you for allowing me to take over this memorial. You are a gem!
|Ruth Kidwell||Wilsonville Cemetery|
I am looking for Mary Etta Stitzel Miner Wagner stone. She is buried by her first husband Cecil Miner. I can't get her to come up when I go to Wilsonville cemetery.
