BEFORE ADDING A MEMORIAL PLEASE DO A SEARCH SO AS NOT TO ADD A DUPLICATE.|
If I've added a family member of yours and you would like their memorial transferred to you, give me your Find-A-Grave contributor ID # and the memorial number and I'll transfer it to you as soon as I can.
For transfer requests; please use 'EDIT' tab and request transfer so it will be easier for me to transfer to you instead of leaving me either 2 names or 200 names to transfer as a public message.
I do realize "F-A-G" is Find-A-Grave's acronym, but if you need to email me, leave me a 'Public Message' or request a transfer; please do not choose to use it when leaving me a message. Thank you.
**Note: If I'm also a family member of the person, most likely I won't transfer a memorial so feel free to ask within the transfer request**

Sorry, I am a little confused. It appears that both you and collette harrison have separate memorials for the same lady, wife of Samuel F. Miller buried Maplewood Cem., Vinton, Benson Co., IA. Yours but not hers links to Samuel. Both have hear name and information slightly wrong, because she was married twice and because the photo on collette's memorial shows her surname spelled wrong on her grave marker by the info. I have. I will e-mail the full family group sheet to you so you can decide for yourself.
Find A Grave #58272263 by collette harrison has Clara Randell
Find A Grave #104469022 by Cody Skoff has Clara Denson Miller
Her maiden name was Clara Dunston. She married first Samuel F. Miller and had 10 children with him. After his death she married David Ransdell and lived with him in Vinton, Benson Co., Iowa.
Therefore her name should be Clara(Dunston)Miller Ransdell and her grave marker should say Clara Ransdell.
I so appreciate people putting memorials and linking to family members--sure makes a researcher's work easier!

Her maiden name was Dunston, first husband Miller, second husband Ransdell was second husband, so her name should be Clara (Dunston) Miller Ransdell.

I might be going back out there in the next couple of days. I'll take new pictures and post those and hopefully be able to get better pictures. I'll remove the ones from hers for now and leave Andrew's.

I am not a frequent Ancestry user and don't have an Ancestry ID. I just like to photograph cemeteries for the benefit of relatives who might appreciate it.

If you are looking for a real bargain internet connection, to to a BIG WalMart and look at a pay-as-you-go 'Hot Spot'. I use one and they are great for a low data user (no movies or sports, etc., just stuff like FindAGrave and email). The device is about 3x5, and there is one brand where the data usage does NOT expire every month. They run off of cell towers and they broadcast wifi to your computer. Locked down and totally secure. But the connection is not fast enough for movies or youtube and that would eat up your data plan anyway. Only problem is that WallyWorld has trouble keeping them in stock. Some people with cable or satellite internet use them for travel, so they sell quickly.
ALSO, if you have a cell phone with unlimited or a generous data plan, most cells can be set to be used as a 'hot spot' at no cost.

MT OLIVET CEMETERY ST JOSEPH MISSOURI
I searched for your loved ones yesterday. This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved ones.
