Recently there was a glitch at Find a Grave; contributors were not notified when a photo request had been completed. I was not able to send a note of thanks because I did not know the photo had been posted. PLEASE accept my thanks now.|
So many people have been very helpful to me; thank you for your ongoing support! I know many researchers will appreciate our efforts.
I enjoy family history, it is like solving a large puzzle. I am still working full time so the hours I have to take pictures and add them are limited.
I have mostly added only family members in the past. There are several cemeteries Scrubgrass Stone Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Big Bend Methodist Church Cemetery, North Washington Union Cemetery, Annisville (New Salem) Cemetery, Mt. Varnum, Prairie, Allegheny, Pleasant Valley and East Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery that are now completely added to Find a Grave (or at least as complete as I could find records). I have many family members buried in these cemeteries. I will do my best to update the other cemeteries.
I like to travel and often visited many of these cemeteries. I hope to visit them again soon.

|FutureAncestor||Sarah Jane Graham Fleming|
Hi Jo, you sent me an edit for Sarah listing her parents according to her death certificate. The death certificate notes her mom as Sarah Jane Fleming but her mom is actually Analiza Corristan Graham. Whoever filled out that death certificate must have put Sarah's name on that line by accident. I have a copy of Sarah and Joseph Fleming's marriage certificate and it has her parents on it as James and Analiza Graham.
There are many documented family trees with her mom as Analiza Corristan, therefore, I can't note her mom as being Sarah Jane Fleming. Hope you understand.
I really appreciate all the edits you have been sending to me. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thank you so much for going to New Lexington Cemetery and photographing Thomas W. Horseman's headstone for me. The inscription confirms that he is my 3rd great grandfather. Thank you for taking the time and effort in fulfilling my request so quickly.
With sincere appreciation,
Angela (Murphy) Scott

You may want to make a correction on Simon's notes on Find A Grave. It states he D: Aug 1931. His second wife Sadie or Sarah O'Hara D: 1927. Your comments show Sadie or Sarah married a Mr Fye AFTER Simon died. She was actually married to Mr Fye FIRST on June 7 1883 and he DIED June 11 1894. Info from the marriage record for Simon and Sadie. Thank you for all the work you do on this site.
|Brian William Bookwalter||Pennington|
Thank you for updating the memorial today. I've had him in my tree for a while now but never tried looking for any of the family on Find A Grave. Thomas' sister Hannah Jane (my 3Rd great grandmother) married a Pennington... they are the ones buried in Annisville Cemetery. My fingers are crossed on someone adding a picture of the tombstone! I might even have to take a ride out there to do it.. haha
Greetings, From your photo of Stone Church on findagrave, the bldg looks different than the St Paul's Church - am wondering if these two church/cemeteries, today, are the same location?
Our early family members appear to be buried between them, at least one instance, husband in one, wife in the other.
Will appreciate any clarification you may have.

No problem, cousin!
|Jerry Fair||Fair Family|
Ms. Jo, you might want to check out the Fair Cemetery, located in Armstrong County, on Ancestry. My 4th great-granduncle, Michael Fair, set aside two acres of his property for the family cemetery.
I do have a lot of family members buried in Butler County.

|Bonnie Parks||RE: Reynolds Family|
My Reynolds family were strictly from Pennsylvania. Here is a link to the oldest Find A Grave memorial 7357478.
George Reynolds came to the US from Scotland in 1754 to fight in the French and Indian war and eventually the American Revolution.
