I truly enjoy putting together the historical puzzle genealogy presents. Family names I am researching are: Burts, King, Terrell, Wilson. Send me an email if you think I can help with your search. |
I give permission for any photo/information I have posted to be copied and used. It's all public record; if you see that I've made a mistake please contact me with the correct information. There's nothing like following an ancestors trail only to find out later it's not the correct trail.
If I'm not related to any memorial I manage, you are welcome to manage it. I know findagrave has a guideline of 4 generations, but the way I look at it, if I'm not related to the person, why would I want to keep the memorial? I think it's only logical for someone related to manage the memorial - it's just a guideline. Just send me the request through the memorial - please don't forget to include your member number.
I have the greatest respect to all who help me solve my genelogy puzzles. Thank you for all your time and hard work.

|tootz||Susan Sarah Craft Blackmon # 14842642|
I am very very distantly related to this line. I see this lady was your 2nd great grandma. I am trying to figure out who her parents were. I think they were William Craft and his wife Leah but their names are not on this memorial. But I think William had a brother named Frederick who is right below him in the 1860 census and Frederick & his wife Elizabeth also had a daughter named Susan both these Susan's are 10 years old. So I am struggling to figure out which of these Susan's married Levi Franklin Blackmon? I have seen the marriage document for Sarah S. Craft and Levi Blackwell Sept. 1870 marriage and I am assuming this is the marriage doc. for your 2 relatives? and your assuming Blackwell was a mistake and it was actually Blackmon, right? I also think perhaps her name was Sarah Susan and she went by Susan but you never know. Just because it's a legal doc. doesn't mean they gave their correct info to the person filling marriage doc. or if they filled it out themselves they could have put the name they went by because they preferred it and not their correct full name. There are so many mistakes and so many variables when researching, ya know? I put her in my tree on ancestry as Sarah Susan with William and Leah as her parents. The hints on ancestry for her are trying to tell me she married a man named Gilford Boswell Turner (findagrave #64089692) and her findagrave memorial # 55834280 she is listed as Susan Katherine Craft Turner and you left a flower and said she was your mother-in-law of cousin 3 times removed and now I'm really lost. Do you have a tree on ancestry.com I could look at? Can you help me try and figure out this puzzle, please? I also have a Mary Susan Craft born in April 1852 in Mississippi who married a William Daniel Williams and they had 3 kids (Leona C., Leah Ellen and Nancy M.) I have not been able to figure out who this Mary Susan's parents are yet but I'm betting she is related to all these Crafts. Do you have any idea who this Mary Susan Craft's parents were? I am tenacious and absolutely love doing genealogy research and strive to be correct and have as much source/proof in my trees as possible so any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I do most of my research on ancestry.com and findagrave.com and I am so grateful for the work you and so many others do for findagrave. To me research is like putting together a great big world wide jigsaw puzzle. I look forward to hearing back from you.

|Angie Dotson||Mary Ann Anderson Wilson|
Just wanted to let you know that I submitted an edit to the memorial you manage for MaryAnn Anderson Wilson (Mem# 14851194). I recently found her Mother's obituary. Her name was Sarah Anderson. She died and is buried in an apparently unmarked grave in Jacksboro, TX. I created a memorial for her and submitted the link to Mary Ann Anderson Wilson. I have requested death records in order to try to find Sarah's parents names or any other information. I will let you know if and when I find anything out. Sarah's memorial number is 134085306.
Sincerely, your Vernon Parish cousin (your Aunt Zelma's granddaughter) Angie Dotson

I would like to help you with you headstone requests for ROSE HILL cemetery here in OKLAHOMA CITY but the cemetery not very helpful nor do they have good maintenance or grave markers to tell you where your at. I went to ask them if someone was buried here and they said it would cost me 5$ for that info. that their services is for family only and they had to call in to get the info. when i asked for maps of the cemetery so i can find where things are they said tell the family to request the map for the info on which they are inquiring. There phone number is 405-843-5771 or fax number 405-843-5754.
