Bio Photo I volunteer as a Board of Directors member and Archivist for the Pennington Research Association. Right now I volunteer as the Pennington Pedigrees Editor. I am involved in much Pennington activity whether they are my direct line or not. Our family is officially Group 6 of this wonderful genealogy site.

I also serve as a Board of Director for the Eureka Historical Society and try to stay involved in my local community.

I've entered various kinds of cemetery records here at

1) My own family members, if I know what cemetery they have been buried.

2) Photographed many, many cemeteries in the Readington Twp., Hunterdon Co., NJ area.

3) Various cemetery records that I have access to books for all US States.

4) I am just about finished with photographing the cemetery in Wanette, Oklahoma. There are about 10% unphotographed and have to figure out which section that I missed. This is my hometown cemetery so its especially dear to me.

5) Starting to photograph more cemeteries in the Eureka, St. Louis Co., MO area...but I've been slow at this. The Franklin Co., MO Cemetery Society pretty much has this area covered. Their contact information is

I have an interest in all tombstones of service men and women. Especially the ones that mention the Revolutionary and Civil War.

I research many surnames, such as: Adkins, Akins, Armitage, Cullins, Elms, Harding, Kirkpatrick, Pennington, Pitts, Redford, Thomas, Whiteaker, Woodrome/Woodrum, Wilson, etc.

If you find any errors or would like to have additional information posted to any records that I have added, please contact me and I'll make those changes for you.

I have no problem with transferring ownership of a memorial that I have created. Just ask and it is yours.

You have my permission to use any of the photographs that I take for your genealogy family history. No need to ask, this statement is all that you need. If you list me as the source for the photo, just source me as Mindy.

The picture of the above statue is from a tombstone that I photographed at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, Hunterdon Co., NJ of a little boy. The children's graves are the ones that makes me the most sad.

Find A Grave Memorial# 130880068-Olamae Pennington
Just a note fyi. Kenneth was originally buried just west of where they are now buried. When Olamae died, he and the stone were moved when she was buried. It is still in the same section and just a few rows away-close to the north east corner of that section.

Minday thanks for photo of memorial # 20755109
I have noted in my husband 's family Bible printed in 1841 a Jacob K. VanFleet dob 5-03-1836 d.Jan 09 1904 . If any one reading this has info or family pics would appreciate sharing .

Jacob's Wife Nancy maiden name Kitchen (She 's from Sayre PA.) VanFleet buried next to him dob Dec 29,?1840 dod have noted as 11-18-1881 but believe it should be feb per grave stone all else matches Jacob connection in Bible

Jacob's father listed as William VanFleet b.May 12,1795 married a Maria Rowe ( need clarification on this site has it as Row b. 1792 d.12,23,1865 they were married Feb 3,1821
believe there is a connection to Wycoff,Hoagland ,& of course Hoagland family in Hunterdon Co NJ.

Could you add jacob dob & Nancy's info on their memorial ? I havent started contributing yet would appreciate it very much .Thanks for all you & rest of volunteers for photos & documentation on this site .

Lucy J. Pitts # 103761893
Would you please go to Find A Grave Memorial# 103761893 and remove the newspaper obituary photos. There are 2 of the same thing.
I would like to add some old photos to this memorial so could use the space for the photos.
I am going to type the info from the newspaper obit and add to the memorial.

I would really appreciate it if you would remove it.

Thanks so much,
