I've always been fascinated with grave sites, visited cemeteries, made rubbings, took photos, etc. and must say that find-a-grave is an ideal site.

I've worked on family history projects for over 35 years and will for as long as I can. I'm more than happy to share family history with anyone interested.

The primary names I research are STROOPE, KEA, Pitts, Howton, Trammel, Hopper, Hale, Thetford, CARPER, BARTON, Lyon, Phipps, Griffith, Ellison, Shumate and many allied lines.

When I document a grave site, I try to include some information on the parents, siblings, marriage, etc. hoping this will help someone identify their relative. In some cases, when recording my line, or lines, I've created memorials for as much of the cemetery as I've had access to.

I'm not likely to post obits. I prefer to glean information from any I receive.

I'll be glad to transfer your family member to you. Always remember the FAG # for the memorial page and, of course, your FAG #. PLEASE do not send me a big list of names with no numbers included... thanks

If I have grave site information in error, please contact me so that corrections can be made.

Recent projects include:

--Gig Harbor and Haven of Rest Cemeteries, Gig Harbor, Pierce County, Washington

--JCC Smith Cemetery in Texas

--Knight of Pythias and Sunset Lane Memorial Park, Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington

--Lovington and Resthaven Cemeteries, Lovington, Lea County, New Mexico

--Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, Pierce County, Washington

--Mount Calvary Cemetery (Santa Barbara Cemetery) , Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico

--Calvary, Old Pioneer and Tacoma Cemeteries, Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington

RE: Plache photos
No problem. I went yesterday evening during a break in a thunder storm but could not get to the other two because of water standing in that section. I will try to take the other two tomorrow morning and post them for you.

Baby Girl Tobiason change in death year you requested

You sent me a request to change her death year from 1920 to 1921. As I noted on the memorial site, Ramsey county birth and death records list her death date as Dec 15, 1920. Do you have another record that states 1921 or have other family records that shows her death in 1921? Please share your information before I change the date.

Thank you.

Sarah and Isaac Scoggin
Isaac Scoggin was the second or three husbands of Sarah last name unknown.
you seem to list her maiden name as Free and that was the name of her third and short lived husband Wm. Free who died abt 1877 in Coyrell County TX where Sara is found as the widow Free in the household of her children in the 1880 census.

Is a link to her grave monument erected by her grandchildren.when her remains were moved from the original cemetery when fort Hood was established. the Actual date of birth is in question as she is listed in each census from 1840 to 1880 (where she appears in two households of her grandchildren) with a different year of birth. We have managed to identify most of her children:

Margaret (Maggie) Vizzard McAleer
Regarding the descendants of Patrick Vizzard--buried at Calvary Cemetery.

Their known children are Bridget, Michael, Patrick, Jr, Maggie, Martin, Thomas, Luke, James, John, Mary and Annie Vizzard.

You may also wish to include Margaret Vizzard McAleer among the family members of Patrick buried at Calvary Cemetery.

Colin McIntosh
Dora May Cornutt Wright Anderson
In this page, she is listed was having number of children including an AMA and a HELLER.

I can not find anything else where about these two individuals and her grandson has never heard of either.

Do you know where this information originated? Or have any additional information for either?

Isaac Scoggin further information
Good afternoon,
Ive been researching this line for a long time.
Sarah his wife married three times. the third time was to a man last name Free. This was after Isaac passed away. Issac was her second husband.
I am VERY curious to know how you know of his siblings...
I have that his father was John Scoggin of white county tn.
I have a good deal of information on this couple if you care to have it. I am descendant through his son Stephen father of George Washington Scoggin of Ark.
Hope to hear from you

RE: Samuel Dewitt Munson - 109140435
Thank you Kathy. I was not challenging you regarding the order of his first and second names. It is clear he preferred to be known as Samuel.

Samuel Dewitt Munson
Samuel Dewitt Munson whom I know as Dewitt Samuel Munson (Find A Grave Memorial# 109140435) is my grandfather. I was introduced to him once, probably in the late 1940s after the war.
He has been somewhat of a mystery and your Find A Grave entry is helpful. Are you related to Dewitt Munson? I ask because my mother was one of his two daughters and she was b. Phoebe June Munson not Jane. notified me today that there was some potential new information regarding him. Indeed there is.
I look forward to hearing from you.
