I love doing Geneology and will be more than happy to help out a fellow FAG member whenever I can.|
If I have entered a memorial that is not a family member of mine and you are connected and would like to maintain the memorial, please send me the request using the suggestion option.
If I have entered a family member of mine that is also a family member of yours and you have information you would like added, please let me know as I will be more than happy to add it to the memorial.
If you believe any of the information that I have entered is incorrect please suggest a correction. I do not normally add false information, most of the information that I add hs has been found and documented, however we are all human and therefore there may be human errors made by mistake.
NOTE: It is a beautiful thing when someone not related to you takes the time to help a fellow member -- Many thanks to all who have and will help another in the future.
Please note that I am running way behind on my e-mail replies and will try and get caught up soon, your patience is appreciated.

You're welcome Shari. I asked my niece to help me upload the huge backlog of photos, and your message confirms that she's been doing it! I've been doing so much teaching this year, in addition to my full time practice, that I've had much less time than usual to upload the summer's worth of photos. And before I know it, we'll be going back to Vermont, so I was beginning to panic. But with Allison's help, at least the photos will be uploaded and then I can go back as time permits and add other biographical information.
Hope you're well,
|Michelle Cooley||Bliss Memorials in Old Burying Ground|
In regards to your recent emails about duplicate memorials in Old Burying Ground for the Bliss Family I have sent an email to Find A Grave Administration regarding memorials with burial location unknown and the subsequent transfers to a known cemetery (IE your recent transfers of your memorials to Old Burying Ground now creating duplicates). Of the 502 Bliss memorials you have created, 326 of them are in Burial unknown.
When adding memorials Find A Grave policy states:
Burials where the interment is unknown should be added using the 'Other' burial option, then 'recent death, location of body unknown'. Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days.
In Find A Grave Policies this is what I found:
In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location. If a case of duplicate memorials falls to the Administration, the Administration will have the final word on which memorial is deleted and which data will be retained in the remaining memorial page.
I will let you know what Find A Grave administration determines.

There is also an Addison, Edward L, and Elizabeth H. Lyman buried with David in the same lot. I made memorial pages for each of them, and if you would like them transferred to you, just let me know.

I'm sorry to say, I don't have any info on his parents, if he is related to you, I would be happy to transfer his memorial to you, just let me know.
I do not know his mothers name. records I saw listed only his father. Sorry.
