Bio and Links
Bio Photo It is the love of family history makes us smile. Each new find, each new puzzle piece brings the story into closer focus. We enjoy roaming old cemeteries and taking pictures that we hope will help others tell their family story.

Any and all pictures we take can be used without any further contact, we took them for your use. Please don't use them to make a profit without our consent. They are for your personal/family use. Thank you for allowing us to help and enjoy your search.

In an effort to eliminate "dead Memorials", I give Find a Grave staff full permission to transfer any of the Memorials I maintain to whomever wants to maintain them upon my death.

We understand that none of us are perfect and we are all volunteers. With that in mind we always try to treat everyone with the utmost respect and hope you will show that to us as well. Together we can do amazing things. Happy Researching!

Anna Rupnow
This note is in regards to Anna Rupnow 10570416. I had added Kuester as a maiden name to this entry by mistake thinking it was my Anna Kuester Rupnow. Yesterday I noticed that the date of death was wrong and then found the correct stone that said Annie Rupnow.

I believe the stone of Mary and Anna Rupnow is probably a childrens memorial. I can't figure out who these children are. I have a lot of Rupnow's in my family but none of them are having children in those years.

Thank you

RE: 26th Wisconsin, Company B
Thanks for the response. I will post a screen shot from Fold3.com that shows his death place and date and some information about him from the official roster. Neosho is only 14 miles from the cemetery, and the death year is the same as on the grave.

I am not a relative. I am doing research on burial sites of some Wisconsin soldiers. I finished the 24th Regiment and am working on the 26th.

26th Wisconsin, Company B
Hi,
I have evidence from Fold3.com that John Wendorf is likely of Co. B, 26th Wisconsin, not a NY Regiment. It says John Wendorf of the 26th WI died in Neosho, WI on 4/23/1926. I would be happy to email a screen shot to you if you don't have access to Fold3.com

Hello there,

Yes, you may use my picture. I welcome anyone to use my pictures and I'm glad that I'm able to help someone locate their loved ones. If you would like me to transfer ownership of this memorial please let me know.

I appreciate your kind words in regard to my profile. I often wonder upon an odd grave like you do and often feel the same way about wanting to trace their history to see where it leads. I recently had the experience of stumbling upon an old friend of my parents in the Wilmington cemetery during my picture taking. He had moved away and then disappeared. Come to find out he passed away soon after moving away based on his headstone information. It was a kind of closure for us to finally know what happened to him.

Again, thank you for taking the time to reach out to me. If you happen to have any others near me whom you'd like me to take a picture of, please let me know.
