Alvino Berryessa

Do you mind if I ask, you said you found the burial information for Alvino "Alvin" Berryessa in county records/and or obits - I'm still trying to figure out if this was "my" Alvin Berryessa. I'm pretty sure it is, but I'm wondering where I could check whatever record you saw for him? Was there an obit? Also, do you know if there was a record for a Dominga Berryessa? That would be his wife. We have no death date on her, she and Alino were born around 1850. Any research suggestions you have would be much appreciated.

Thanks again for creating the memorial.

I've added Virginia & linked her to her husband. Was she buried with him?

RE: Louis Oestreicher 1859-1897
Hi Jim'
The photo is for Block 54, Row 6, Graves 26-27
as indicated on the bottom of the headstone, the name Oestricher might not have been engraved or the Cemetery gave you the wrong location.

RE: Grau Plot
"Grau Plot
I'll have to get that from the Cemetery, Donna help me last time, She was very Kind..."

Yes, they could be very nice until they hear the word "photos". I had my bad experience with one of them, in person, when I naively visited the office and mentioned the forbidden word...

I didn't find a whole lot
It looks like Gino remained single. He moved around a lot. His niece took care of his burial.

Italian cemetery photo requests
Occasionally I look at the list of photo requests in the Italian cemetery since I still have the majority of Retaggio's abandoned memorials. I am usually too busy to look at that list and since I am not a photo volunteer I don't get messages when a new request comes in.

I do get messages when people send a message through the memorial they are interested in. I didn't get any message about the memorial for Gino Nannini but since I saw his name on the list of photo requests today and I just finished up with another family, I'll see what I can find on this memorial.

If you are ever interested in a memorial I have, drop me a line. I may not have worked on that one yet. I work on at least one memorial a day. Usually a lot more, but some days when I get home from work I only have time for one before bed.

Jonathan G. Soule 1826 - 1888.
Wondering if you know why there looks to be 2 stones for the same person?
Jonathan G. Soule 1826 - 1888 buried in Pine Grove
Cemetery in Maine. Have sent you a email with photos we took. Please share your thoughts. :)

RE: Mary (Soule) Stilson
Excellent! Sorry it is difficult to read, but I am just glad that I was able to find it. I know it has been long requested!
