I am a direct descendant of the Richard Haines who left England aboard the ship "Amity" in 1682. He died on the ship and his wife and kids settled in NJ. Richard was my 6th Great Grandfather. There are a lot of Haines in the US from this Richard. Nathan Haines of OH was my Gr Grandfather. Ebenezer Haines who married Rebecca Berry was his father. Nathan Haines married Sarah Iiams in Grant Co., IN. I have also done a lot of research on the Iiams name. My Grandfather E. Morton Haines was born in Grant Co., IN in 1865 and moved to OR in 1892 where he lived out his life. I have a lot of family connections to Grant Co., IN.

RE: William Hawley Bell
Hello Nathan,
Well Shucks, I have not looked into this man for some time so need to refresh my memory of how I got to that point that I thought he was buried there with Minnie. So I think I will call the cemetery and yes can order a DC if I don't get answers. He is not a relative, but a dear life time friend of my family member Mary M. McLean buried in the same greenleaf section. I do think Wm was divorced, he lived without Minnie and roomed with mary McLean until she died, I think that was 1920 census. (sorry, could be mistaken, as I have no records in front of me right now). He might very well be buried elsewhere, and yes most likely in Washington County as he did get a pension I knew that from before and he lived there earlier in his life too. Thank you and let me get back to you ok? I appreciate your time to write a note to me with your thoughts and advice. So will write back soon as I get more info!! Thanks again,

RE: William Hawley Bell
Hi, thank you so much for the reply. Well shucks I assumed he was there from old info that he was with Mary McLean a friend of his and his wife as they have plots there. Hum, he and wife I learned more recently were divorced so perhaps he changed his mind later in life and not buried there after all, and maybe in Washington county as you mentioned...

Oddly Minnie's stone says "wife" of William H bell, wouldn't they not put that if she was divorced? Now I am more confused. I will see what I can figure out. Thanks for bring the issue up as again I just assumed he was indeed there!!!

Harvey Jay Bartholomew
The photos of Harvey's grave and the view in the distance, are absolutely outstanding. It gives such perspective as to where his grave is located. Thank you so much for both pictures. They are way more than I expected.

I will keep all 3-especially the one as it was before you cleaned it, but think the bottom one after you cleaned it is the best. Thanks so much.
