If you want to use my pictures in your family research files or whatever it is fine with me.

I am a direct descendant of the Richard Haines who left England aboard the ship "Amity" in 1682. He died on the ship and his wife and kids settled in NJ. Richard was my 6th Great Grandfather. There are a lot of Haines in the US from this Richard. Nathan Haines of OH was my Gr Grandfather. Ebenezer Haines who married Rebecca Berry was his father. Nathan Haines married Sarah Iiams in Grant Co., IN. I have also done a lot of research on the Iiams name. My Grandfather E. Morton Haines was born in Grant Co., IN in 1865 and moved to OR in 1892 where he lived out his life. I have a lot of family connections to Grant Co., IN.

Mary Ann Munselle King
Dear Nathan,
You are very kind to let me know about the correct date of death for Mary Ann Munselle King.

I do not have a copy of her funeral notice. Could you direct me to it?

Sincerely,
Anita

Nathan,

You betcha, I know it's the first mistake you ever made, lol. I can always find an excuse for sure.
You have done a very good job. And you are not the only one that has believed what people put in their tree's. I think it is so nice of you to add memorials to Find A Grave.

Again, thank you so much,
Virgie Perrin

RE: Fred Franklin Burns
Nathan, you really surprised me with how quickly my request for photos was supplied. I am beyond pleased. I never met the paternal side of my family and my father, Robert Burns and mother Joan Shull divorced when I was 5 or 6 years old and that is the last time I saw or heard of my father or any of his family. I will be 68 years old in March, and last year, I decided I wanted to get to know my paternal side of my family and started researching all of my relatives and ancestors on Ancestry. com. I have learned so much. I still haven't found basic things like my paternal grandmother's (Lottie McFall Burns)birth certificate or my paternal great grandfather, Fred Burns and grandmother, Lottie Burns marriage certificate.

What a gift you gave me, not only a quickly provided Fred Franklin Burns photo but a photo of my father's headstone as well. I am so grateful. Then you went further and took more photos. THANK YOU so much. You have made me very happy and YOU are much appreciated. Thank You Nathan.

Nathan, I did look at the corridor photo as well, and at the time wondered, how you were able to get the great photo. I would guess, based on location, flowers aren't changed to frequently. Have a nice day. Shirley

Bertha Lewis Rife 98527185
William M Rife #98527198

In Lincoln Memorial Cemetery for William M Rife # 98527198 and Bertha Lewis Rife his wife # 98527185. I believe that it was not a Bertha Lewis from Knox Co Ohio. I found this on familysearch.org.

Bertha Earhart
mentioned in the record of Wm M Rife and Bertha Earhart
Name: Wm M Rife
Event Type: Marriage
Event Date: 19 Nov 1898
Event Place: Yamhill, Oregon, United States
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Birth Year (Estimated): 1863
Spouse's Name: Bertha Earhart
Spouse's Gender: Female
Spouse's Age: 20
Spouse's Birth Year (Estimated): 1878
Page: 2751
GS Film Number: 4474577 , Digital Folder Number: 004474577 , Image Number: 00103

In searching familysearch, I found that Bertha Lewis married someone else in Ohio. Bertha Earhart was a child of James Stephen Earhart and Elizabeth Jane Griffin-Earhart of Darke Co, Ohio This Bertha was born in Darke Co. This family moved to Oregon in the 1900 census. The Lewis's always lived in Ohio and in the 1880 census, their son and daughter (Bertha) was born in Pennsylvania and Williams wife was born in Ohio.
I am not sure what you want to do, but just wanted to correct it. Bertha Earhart-Rife's parents are buried in this same cemetery.

Thank you,
Virgie Perrin
