I am a retiree who said "when I retire I am going to research my family", and I have. I find that I love it, and can just as interested in anyones genealogy. So I have expanded into the Spouses and as favors to spouses of cousins. I have in the past 5 1/2 years researched over 51000 people. I am an self taught researcher, but very determined, and I get the job done. I spend all my summers in Thompson Michigan and hit the cemeteries. I give permission for use of any photos that I contribute to be used by interested researchers.|

I entered information for Michael Dunlavey in 2013 memorial # 114009733
He was my maternal Great Grandfather. I originally entered in Old St. Patrick Cemetery Bay County Michigan. Now I can't even find the Old St Patrick Cemetery listed. It is separate from the New Cemetery. Sorry didn't know you already had this in the system. Can you transfer your memorial to me?
Someone named Keith e-mailed me a let me know about the duplication. I wish they would have left the old and new cemeteries separate. I didn't have a chance to enter pictures of the stone but I see someone else did. Very Nice!

So are you possibly related to Dr. Fonda that you have kindly added the statement and picture about on the above site? He is a distant cousin of mine.

|MaryK||Photo requests for St. Pats, Bay City|
I was unable to fill these requests because the office lady is very unhelpful about locating graves. She hates a list so I have found it easiest for the individual who is requesting the photo to find out the location. I have an index of existing tombstones that some nice ladies did for the Bay County GENWEB but that's for the old St. Pats where most burials are from the early 1900s. Sorry!
Mr. Burnor does not appear on the tombstone index.

Hi, Karen! I visited my father's grave this weekend and saw that I really need to bring new flowers...imagine my surprise when I saw the same flowers in the pic on Find a Grave! So glad you included him! However, the bio is not entirely correct. His mother's middle name is "May" (I have the birth certificate) and he was not raised by Clayton, but was sent to live with an aunt and uncle in Canada until he and his brother ran away. He did die young, but besides his wife, he also left four children. :-) If you prefer I update this myself, feel free to transfer it to me. But thanks again for visiting his grave and including him!

Greetings! I submitted a request to link Mabel to her parents who are buried in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. All of Thomas and Annie's children were born in Michigan.

|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||Cheery Hello sent your way!|
I was inputting some memorials in Brick Church...not related to me. Usually I will spend some time linking together the families. Family is so important to all of us and it does make it nicer when you find a mother/father to link to. Whenever I come across a page of obituaries including the one I was searching for, I will take the time to clean them up and attach them to the memorial on findagrave that they belong to. Many later obits help us piece together the family. I will call the associated papers in order to obtain permission for posting the obits. All, so far, have giving me the OK!
It does appear that there are some individuals doing a thorough job on ancestry.com with the family but had the incorrect death place for James. I sent them a URL link to findagrave so that they could get a good death date and burial place. This burial information is SO important when working with New York/New Jersey because information is not readily available for births/death/marriages. It was interesting to see that "Hattie" his wife was actually "Rosemary" whose nickname was "Hattie"....even in the cemetery records they referred to her as Hattie! On the headstone it was Rosemary...smiling. They are just trying to make it a bit harder for us genealogists...wink!
You have done such a 'bang up' job that I simply had to let you know that we have found another member's death date!
Do hope this finds you doing well...this search is quite exciting!
|Mary Mowbray||RE: Beatrice Floyd and Baby Mowbray|
I didn't remember whether I replied to your last message about Beatrice and Baby Mowbray, but I was able to find Beatrice in the Rose City Cemetery last week. A Mowbray cousin was able to verify that the baby girl was interred with her mother.
Thanks for looking into this for me as well!
Transfer done. So happy you finally found her.
