I live in Helena, Montana and research cemeteries in Lewis and Clark, Broadwater, and Jefferson counties. |
I may have more information than what is posted on Find A Grave and will be glad to share that information. If I don't have the information, I may have resources that could be helpful to genealogists and researchers.

There are possible duplicates on your memorial #93480171 and with #122179860. I understand that he was moved to another cemetery, so maybe it is okay that there are 2 memorials for him, but maybe not. Yours has the best info, so I'm sure that you can get the other to delete their memorial. Just thought that I'd point it out. Thank you and God bless!

Sorry about that. Please try to link Mattie to Harriet Walker Gilson #14079904.

My pleasure. The inconsistency with the name threw me. It took me a while to realize the grave was right where I started looking for it.

BTW..... no papers came up for Helena, Lewis and Clark, Montana..... would you have access to papers from that time in your area?

I have access to Ancestry and recently looked for an obit on Newspapers.com in Montana & PA..... nothing so far.
He passed so young, 35, an accident maybe?
If you have any suggestions other than searching for his name, please let me know.
