Thomas F Scott
Hi I saw you left a message on Delores flower followed to your Find A Grave message page. Are you a descendant of Thomas Scott line. I am tracing descendants. Thanks Sandy

RE: Josephine Bell
Any additional info pointing to Cypress Lawn as the place of burial will be helpful ... is it on the death certificate? Or was she buried at another SF cemetery, and then moved to Cypress Lawn when SF purged the city of cemetery space?

RE: Josephine Bell
Photos at the end of a long day ... my apologies! I should have caught the date mismatch.

The genealogy search for Cypress Lawn only shows one Josephine Bell, but has no date for death/burial.

I will probably be back up there next week; I'll try to see if the office has any information to clear this up.

Mary Ellen Evans Bennington
You put in a request for pictures of Mary Bennington's grave.
The cemetery told me that they just cremated Mary and gave the "ashes" back to the family. She did not get interred in that cemetery.
I believe the only way you will find what was done with her is IF you can find a living relative that knows.

Could you call the Ohio Veterans Home and get the section, row, and grave information and then post it on your photo request?

RE: Plaster
Did you happen to locate their brother Ben? He had a DLC near the Luther White Cemetery. In 1874 he married Mrs. Mary Sloan in Lane county (indexed as P. F. Plaster). In 1882 he got a Liquor License at Coburg and in 1908 he was somnambulating at Baker City. I did not find him in the Death Indexes for Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana or California. I requested a link for their sister Margaret (Plaster) Sloan (# 34193439), but I could not find her in the Death Indexes or in the Newspapers. Her husband had pretty good obits in the Eugene & Portland papers.

I also could not find the link between Margaret's husband John Sloan and Ben's wife Mrs. Mary Sloan. I think I'll leave that quandary to a more serious researcher.

Have a great week!
