Hi I was checking to see if Elmer & Emma Blockhus daughter was buried in West Union Cemetery and she is but you have put her on twice so there are to memorials for her so you might want to delete one and then add her parents memorials to the one that is left on.
Elmer Blockhus memorial is 97190205
Emma memorial is 97190540
They are buried in the West Union Cemetery also.

Thx. I appreciate the info. And thx for sharing the pictures. I like looking at the old ones. If gives a face to the long known names. :-)

Would you consider turning over management of Barbara Rickel's page to me so that I can include family biography information. She is my ggg-grandaunt.

Would you consider transferring the following memorials to me. Zephaniah Carr (# 48794976) and Caroline Carr (# 48794975). They are my 3rd Great Grandparents on my mothers side. Thanks for creating the memorials.

Kris, I just wondered if you are still taking photos around the St Peters Lutheran Church in Westgate. I have 6 requests in and have had 2 of
them in for some time now. I know it is winter and
you have to work around the snow and the weather.
I do the same with the weather and cold where i live.
Thanks, Robert Carlson, Find A Grave Member
|LadyDragon||RE: Chalmers Dorland|
Dear Kris, I have added you as a friend. Just FYI
My connection to the Dorland line is obscure and not by blood. Leslie Allan Dorland was the second husband of my grandmother's half-sister, Edna Hays Arnold Boteler Dorland Pearce.
Here is what I have on Chalmers, and it is not much...
Father: Cornelius Allen Dorland
Mother: Mary A Martin (also married UNK Neff)
Chalmer had at least 3 siblings, though I don't have any information on them other than that 1 was a brother and 2 were sisters. I got all that information from Keith Dorland's tree on Ancestry.com. Keith is Edna's grandson.
Oh, I do have that Mary Martin Dorland Neff was born in Ohio. Cornelius and Mary were married 30 Sept 1856 in Green, Wisconsin.
Hope that helps!!
Here's my e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. Welcome to contact me anytime!!

|Cerelle Bolon||Joel Butler 46449519|
Joel was most likely named Asa Joel Butler as the family Bible stated that all of the Joel's also were named Asa..unfortunately that Bible was destroyed by fire.
His father was Asa (sometimes called Ora) Butler 11198233 who was born 27 Feb 1772 in Norway (now called Russia), Herkimer, New York. He was an early Baptist minister and died young. He died 16 Jan 1811 in Westmoreland, Oneida, New York.
His mother was Mary 'Polly' Norcross who was born 23 Nov 1773 in Templeton, Worchester, Massachusetts.
After the death of his father, Polly married Chauncy (Chancy, Chancey) Butler, Asa's brother.
Chauncy and Polly, along with their children and the father of both Asa and Chauncey, Joel Butler (1752 – 1822) traveled by flatboat down the Allegheny and Ohio Rivers to Madison, Indiana where they landed in 1817. This is how the family entered Indiana.
I thought you might like to connect him to his parents on his memorial.
THANK you for all of your work.
