The people I've recorded are mostly family members.|
For many of them, the Santa Clara Valley was their home and final resting place. Since I've started researching and recording, I'm expanding on that! It's important to me to honor my people in some small way. With the find-a-grave web-site, I can place them on the map, so to speak.
Their names may serve as a small piece of the puzzle for genealogists, historians and researchers, just like me.
May joy come to those who simply enjoy the researching and discovery of their roots.
May you smile and appreciate the beauty and quiet of an old cemetery and the excitement it brings to stumble across a priceless photograph.
May you revel in discovering those who walked here before us.
Hopefully, those who discover my entries will be inspired to find a piece of their own family tree.

A very nice man from PA sent me the most fabulous photographs this morning.
And the clouds came out and the sun was shining and it was such a lovely afternoon ... I left my classroom and went up to Felton where I had a wonderful time walking through the Felton Cemetery and I came away with the photograph you asked for and a description of the sweet little cemetery where your relative is spending eternity.
Would you like me to email them?
I will go up to Felton this weekend. I checked the records and there is an A. BERREYESA listed there so hopefully I can get your photo for you.
She is listed with William BERREYESA .
Do you want both?
Here is a link to the list I found online: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ca/santacruz/cemeteries/felton.txt
