My favorite things to do are genealogy and scrapbooking. My mother, Lila Ashby Thacker, is currently working on the 7th thick album for 12 different family members with our ancestors' biographies to which I add a scrapbook page with photo for each. I also research our ancestors and add more dates and names. It's a long process but fun. My boyfriend and I had been looking a long time for his grandfather who had left his grandmother with 3 small kids and started another family. One day my boyfriend stumbled on FAG (findagrave.com) and found his long lost grandpa and his picture. It was like a reunion. We emailed the person who entered his info. She turned out to be a relative and we've communicated ever since and gotten close. |

Thank You! I don't for the life of me remember sending that and why or how I received that information.
I guess I just am getting too old. LoL. You know, Senior moments.
I looked at my tree and I have the correct information. Including your transcription of the the obituary.
Sorry for taking up your time with this.
Love all the work you are doing.

Just a heads up. I submitted a change for the place of death for Loretta (Henry) Merkley Find A Grave Memorial # 18796797.
The Obituary listed her death in Salt Lake City.

Thanks Rhonda for the information.
|Jason O'Driscoll||Finity Daybell 21537986|
I was wondering if you had an Idea on the exact birthday of Finity (my 3rd great grandfather)?
His headstone has him as 82 yrs 7 month that would be March 25, 1815.
The short sketch has it as March 14, 1815
You have on the memorial March 11, 1815.
Ancestory.com even has 1814 as the year.
Are we at a lose on the exact day?
|Pat Gardner||Hepsibah Hirst Branch #24389368|
According to Hepsibah's death certificate, her parents were Luke Drake and Susannah Thorpe. I am not sure where you got your information, but can you double-check it and make the correction, if necessary.
|Cari||Arthur Hollister Dolan|
Are you by any chance related to Arthur? I have a box of old photos marked West Virginia, but there are no names on them. If you're interested, please contact me. My husband, John Dwight Dolan visited Ronceverte with his brother Freeman. John is on hospice now and is 87. I'd love to get answers to the questions of "who these photos are" before he dies.

Hi Ronda, Pam Woodward here 48355771 from Cederview (Roosevelt) UT Last month I went to a funeral for Sharon McGauhey in Glendive, MT. You made a sight for her son, some 13 yrs ago. I was wondering if you would make a link from son to mother Sharon #156139269. I haven't been on Find A Grave for so long I can't remember how it works anymore. I have a picture of Troy I would like put on. Can I still do that or do you have to.
Sharon was the mother of my Daughter-in-law.
