I became infatuated with FindaGrave because of the terrible disrepair and disinterest I saw going on in our old country cemeteries and the destruction being wreaked in the big city cemeteries by vandals. At least on FindaGrave we can photographically preserve the history of our families for future generations before nature, neglect or needless demolition of our relatives resting places are destroyed. I got started with a little cemetery where my great-great-grandparents were buried, and got my mother hooked - now I've created a monster! To date, she has posted 26,000+ memorials and 6,000+ photos! ;0) ♥You go Mom!♥|

Greetings from DeRidder, Louisiana, which is only a few miles from Rosepine.
I recently saw that you left a message at the virtual memorial for Albert Day Craft, who is buried at the Alexandria National Cemetery.
Possibly we collaborate on some family history and genealogical work.

I suggest that you identify Richard Hammond Price (14822971) and Isabele Austin (14823098) as being married.

I was at a reunion yesterday at Hulls Grove and I took the pictures you needed of the Hull's graves. I will get them on here as soon as I can.
You're very welcome and it was my pleasure.
I've been researching my genealogy for little over a year now and recently found this site and I am very impressed. Currently there are well over 100 photo requests in my area so I will be very busy the next few weekends :)
...and as for the help lol, I have come to a dead end on my surname search and not real sure where to go from here. Ancestry.com is of no help so if you can offer a resource, I would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your message, I think a lot of us women are united in our grief for our lost newborns, even if they never felt life but for a fleeting moment. We are mothers forever, regardless if the children we carry never take a breath. So happy to hear you have a daughter, I have 2 boys and a girl, all of them near 40 now, CJ was my last child. Because of the poor care I received, I was never able to have another, but I thank God for the ones I have, some women never get that chance. May God bless you and your family.
|Lee Manning||Craft Tombstones|
Next to Annie and W.W.Craft there is a double stone. One side is James R. Craft, son if Annie and W W Craft and other side is Wesley A. Craft, son of Annie and W W Craft. Are you interested in getting pictures uploaded for them as well. The memorials are already listed for Rosepine Cemetery, so if you want pictures for them, let me know or just add a photo request for them.
Thank you for your kind words.
|Melissas sis||Jesus painting|
Thanks for the email. Sorry I don't know where the Jesus picture came from, I copied it off someone's Find A Grave page. It is a beautiful picture, I wouldn't mind having a big copy of it myself. Good Luck!
