Recently I discovered that flag had been replaced with flowers. If you see one of my memorial messages left on a memorial page with flowers instead of the flag, please notify me so that I can make the appropriate changes.

Please feel free to use/share photographs and other historical information I've posted to memorials.

I manage several hundred memorials in Chambers County, AL that Hank Rogers transferred over to me before he became inactive with F.A.G.

Also, most of the very old newspaper items on my memorials are through the courtesy of F.A.G. Member #47182102 who has painstakingly transcribed volumes of "The LaFayette Sun", the official newspaper of Chambers County, Alabama.

RE: Searching for Emeline Adams, daughter of Robert F Adams
Hi, Don,
I checked my research for the Robert F. Adams lineage. He married Mary Hammonds after his first wife, Mary Frances Abernathy died.

Robert F Adams and Mary Hammonds had 2 children, Warner Monroe (W. M.) and Maud Adams. Warner Monroe died at the age of 7 years. I see his grave there in Macdonia Cemetery.

However, there are no other immediate adult family members who match the W. M. and S. Adams noted on Eugenia E. Adams gravestone and there is no Robert D Adams in the lineage.

Robert F Adams siblings and parents are clearly identified in the trees with documents and none of them are a match for either W.M. and S. or Robert D Adams found above. Please feel welcome to view their lineage at under my Richetto Family Tree.

After reviewing the Robert F Adams family graves photographed and documented on Find A Grave for Macedonia Cemetery, I believe that Robert F Adams with his 2 wives, Mary Frances Abernathy and Mary Hammonds, and deceased young children, Eugenia E. Adams and W. M. Adams (Warner Monroe Adams, age 7) comprise those those individuals that are resting there since none of their other children preceded their parents in death. The other married children are located on Find a Grave; howver, they are buried with their spouses in other cemeteries.

Thank you for your investigation and thoughts on this. I think we may have identified an error in the memorial inscriptions for this family. What do you think?

Hi, Don,
I will need to do some more research in to find out who Thomas B., W.M. and S. Adams were. I will let you know soon.
Thanks for making the effort to visit the cemetery for me.

RE: Searching for Emeline Adams, daughter of Robert F Adams
I checked the pictures of Eugenia E Adams gravestone and it clearly states that she is the daughter of W. M. and S. Adams. However, as you said in your e-mail, I see a small stone on the north side of the grave stones for Robert F Adams and Mary Francs Abernathy. Thanks for checking. Is there a record keeper for the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Cemetery that may have her little life recorded?

RE: Searching for Emeline Adams, daughter of Robert F Adams
Thank you so much, Mr. Clark. I was wondering if possibly the entry for Eugenia E. Adams with unknown birth and death dates might actually be the infant daughter of Robert F Adams and Mary Frances Abernathy since it is listed adjacent to their memorials. Just thinking...
Thank you also for remembering our sweet Aunt Lejean. She was a wonderful Christian example for all of us and we will miss her dearly.

Searching for Emeline Adams, daughter of Robert F Adams
Hello, Churchwell,
I am Granddaughter of Dr. Ernest Ezekiel Thompson and Mary Emily Trammell of Chambers County, Alabama. I am researching family lineage and connections for Robert F Adams (1842-1917) and his wife, Mary Frances Abernathy (1843-1887). They are both buried there in the Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Chambers County, AL. A family member wrote a life sketch for Robert F Adams which states that he and Mary Frances had an daughter named Emeline Adams who died in her infancy. The search engine for Find a Grave does not show any information on Emeline Adams so I may assume she possibly had a different first name. If you can shed some light on her resting place with name and dates I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your consideration and work to preserve the memories of our families.

RE: Union Hill (?) Cemetery
Thanks Don for the correction. My cemetery photo of Pleasant Grove has been removed from Union Hill. Like you, I have asked the contributor to move Mrs. Adamson's memorial. No action yet. Sims?
I don't see anything so guess it was deleted or moved.

the top photo is on his page, but it's a lot smaller - would you mind if I put these pictures up there?

RE: James H. Wise
Our relationship to you is pretty distant - Parham Lindsey Wise 1830-1862 was the son of IsIsaiah Lindsey Wise (1807 - 1836), son of Dr. Patton Wise (1769 - 1828), then back down - his son was John Johnson Wise (1796 - 1860), his son was Patton Alexander Wise (1825 - 1859), his daughter was Mary Ella Wise (1857 - 1932), she married James Wesley Newell and they had a son James K Newell Senior (1890 - 1967) (who was a football star at Auburn University), his son James K Newell Jr was my wife's grandfather. There's a tiny picture of the James A. Wise house on his page on, but I would love to get a nice big one to put on his page.
