Hi Mila, I added the death certificate for Martha Tiffany Thornton for you also. Not sure if you had that or not.

Here is a link to the obit, so that you can see it in the paper. I sent one for her husband to the person that manages his memorial, but it hasn't been posted yet.

Hopefully that link works! Here is the obit for her husband, in case you don't have it.

Spokane Daily Chronicle - Tues., Jan. 8, 1952

Southwick was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge of Lewiston and the Southwick Community church.

Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Howard Southwick, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Christena Cuddy, Southwick, and Mrs. Thelma Winters, Corning, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Brown, Glendale, Calif.; Mrs. Emma Parry, Cavendish, Idaho, and Mrs. Myrtle Davis, Lewiston Orchards; a brother, Bert Southwick, Seattle; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

You are very welcome! Not sure if there was anything helpful in the obit, but it's always nice to have them.

Hi Mila,
I think that you are right, the transcription that I got his birth date from must have been incorrect. 1841 makes a lot more sense. One of these days if the weather cooperates I will see if I can get a picture of the stone. Meanwhile the date on the memorial has been changed to 1841 and I linked him to his parents. Your help is always appreciated.

RE: Benjamin Pierson
Thank you for the correction. I inherited this memorial from an inactive member, and do not recall if I added the information or if it was already there. I love it when things are correct and done right, so I appreciate your help! :)

RE: Bertha Sturdevant
Yes I know that Bertha was never married to a Benjamin Pierson. But I am unable to edit the link that was created by someone else. I did try. I made a note that George F. Pierson was her spouse.

RE: Jacob Wissler # 29650682
Thanks for adding the information and for your kind offer to add more!

The only additions are a note saying that Jacob left a will, V-1-417 (Lancaster County, I assume), and the names of the ten children. So far I have found memorials for eight of them. We can see how the requests to link go, and then I'll send you the names of the ones that remain.

Best wishes!

Howdy! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, and all those you love. May it be a very special day for you. And thanks so much for all you do for Find-A-Grave. It is greatly appreciated.
