 | Ragan Cemetery, Clarence, LA I will transfer Lillie to you momentarily. Regarding the history of the Ragan Cemetery, you might talk with Sam Ragan, 318-352-6228, or William Ragan, 318-357-0665. They both live on LA 1225 near the cemetery and very possibly own the land on which the cemetery is located. Good luck! | | | William Holly
 | Re Ragan Cemetery Oops, the cemetery is on the west side of LA 1225.

 | RE: Lillie N. Jones Ragan Hi, I found the Ragan Cemetery with your Lillie Jones Ragan while researching my wife's TEDDLIE line.
The small cemetery is located in an open field on the east side of LA 1225 on the south edge of Clarence, (Natchitoches Parish) LA. It is about 50 - 75 yards off the paved road. It can be seen from the road and is easily accesible by car. If coming from Natchitoches on LA 6, as you enter Clarence, turn right onto LA 1225, a mile or so down after passing the last of the houses on the right watch off to your right for the cemetery, there is no sign.
If you would like, make a request with the edit tab on Lillie's memorial page and I'll transfer her to you.
Be aware, Clarence has been known as a speed trap. And, if you happen to be hungary, about a 1/4 mile north of THE red light at LA 6 and it's intersection with US 71/US 84 is Grayson's BBQ, a very popular eatery, just five minutes from the cemetery.

 | RE: Hillcrest Cemetry Between having company & getting sick - once I was finally able to get to the cemetery, it was no trouble at all! I'm glad I was able to help.

 | RE: Beall Yes I am a descendant of Doctor Hillary Beall through his son Robert Joshua Beall, then William Robert Beall, then Fannie Louvern Beall, who was my great-grandmother. How are you connected? | | | Karen V.
 | RE: John Thomas Rice, Grove Hill Cemetery I took photos of other family members in the immediate area and am loading them now. He seems to be the only one that doesn't have a marker.Added by Karen V. on Sep 24, 2011 1:40 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
