Van Kirks in Salem Regular
Hi Todd, I am related to the Van Kirks but not direct line, whoever I know all there vitals, maiden names, and family links. I'm gonna send a few transfer requests if you are game so I can get them linked into the Van Kirks of yore.

Shuker pix
Thank you Todd, for getting out to Homewood yesterday to take all those Shuker pix. There was one I had requested - actually it turns out to be the one in which I am most interested - which was not photographed. George M Shuker, who died in 1926. Was he one of the many who must have been buried around the Raymer/Shuker family stone, or did you not see anything there about him?
Thanks very much,
Kathy Smith

Kestler & Monge at Calvary
Thank you VERY much for the photos of the Kestler/Monge marker at Calvary Cemetery. That was a fabulous surprise today! Joseph is my gg-grandfather. It looks like it was a beautiful day to take pictures.

Sheekey Family Photos
Hi Todd,

Thank you for the Sheekey photos. Are these photos you took, or did Bill take them (for whom I transcribed some Calvary headstones from the B's)?

I see your comments about corrections or suggestions. I will look them over more carefully. I did look at Sarah Sheekey's question about 1846 vs. 1848. A cousin researched her baptism record, and the year was 1847. Also, the 1850 census gives her age as 4.

I also noticed that Owen's headstone gives the death year as 1913, but the obituary gives 1915. Also, Eugene Sheekey's wife's date of death is not listed on his stone, so I think I will look into adding it. They had no children from their marriage.

Thank you for these pictures. I only had degraded photocopies from several years ago.

John

Photos You've taken
Hi Todd, I see you are still adding to this great work and for that I thank you, Again. You have taken several pictures for me (Welsh and Bongartz) and I was wondering if I could get your permission to post those same photos to Family Search.

If you haven't been there you should look it up. Not only can you do research there they now have a Family Tree that is open to all. You can add or link sources to the people there along with pictures and stories.

If you'd rather I didn't use those photos that will be fine too, just let me know.

Thanks, Wanda (WLW)
