RE: Clarence Soffel
You are very welcome, glad I could help you. It's always sad when there is no stone. I did check with the office to be sure of the location.
Have you seen the cemetery web site?
Type in his name and it will bring up a map of the grave location approximately. It is actually a little above where the map shows.

Hope you are safe in PA with all the storm damage done all over. Have a great weekend.

German Cemtery
The burials should be in the WEST LIBERTY CEMETERY. I see you have started working on it as I have. I haven't gotten to the photo phase. I don't know how Find A Grave handles merging them, but will do that. I posted a Veterans Burial Card for John Adrian and the official name of the cemetery is West Liberty Cemetery. I do joint projects with others. We can talk about how to move the current memorials in the Old German Cemetery. I will remove my duplicates if they were older. The only thing you might want to add is the plot numbers. I see you don't have that information.

George Marshall

Thanks so much for the great George Marshall memorial photo and for helping me honor this Civil War veteran. Sure looks like the headstone is sinking or the ground is can hardly see the bottom line!
