Florence Black's Mother's Name
Carol Black Davis, Florence Black's daughter, has discovered a factual error on her mother's find-a-grave memorial. Florence Black was not a Gilpin. Florence's mother was Charlotte Gilpin Black. Charlotte was married to Friend Black. The description currently says , "Daughter of Friend A & Charlotte Gilpin," when it should say, "Daughter of Friend A & Charlotte Gilpin Black".

Careys at Evergreen
Thanks for adding info to Lizzie Worden. Ihave been to Evergreen looking for Careys but had no success. I assume there are unmarked graves but have been unable to find an individual or association that might have records. I believe Lizzie's sister Hannah may also be buried there. The following is all the info I have concerning her. Would you have any comments or leads?

Hannah Maria (CAREY) was born on 20 May 1883. She never married. Hannah was not located in the 1900 census records and she died in 1907. Her newspaper obituary was located :
Miss Hannah Carey, aged 23, daughter of Mr. & Mrs J. G. Carey, of Lake Winola, died Friday January 25, 1907 at the State Hospital, Scranton, of Typhoid Fever. Funeral was held Sunday at the Baptist Church with burial at Glendale. She is survived by her parents, brothers and sisters.

Thanks,
Bob

Elsie Neville Goodrich
RE: Zion Cemetery
Thank you for your reply. I thought the person who added the photos were the ones responsible for the photos. I will contact L Ward and ask him why there is a photo of Thomas N Neville tombstone on Thomas Neville's memorial when the tombstone for Thomas Neville very clearly gives his date of birth and his date of death and does not have the N for his middle name. I am still learning and thank you for letting me know. I know the other person who also posted a photo for Thomas N Neville on the memorial for Thomas Neville did move theirs. I guess they thought it made more sense for the tombstone for Thomas N Neville to be on Thomas N Neville's memorial. Thank you for your help.

Photo on Thomas Neville
Is it possible the photo of the tombstone you added to Thomas Neville #6155474 belongs to Thomas N Neville #6155450? Your photo shows a definite N for the middle name. Thomas N Neville is my Great Uncle. I know it does not show the dates of birth and death but they are Nov. 22, 1836 as his birth and June 12, 1875 as his date of death. He was killed by a falling tree. Thank you for your consideration in this matter and for the photo. Elsie Neville Goodrich

Lizzie M. Worden
Hi,
On Find A Grave, I have suggested Carey as the maiden name of Lizzie M Worden. She is my mother's sister (oldest of 16). My mother Helen Carey was the youngest of the 16. Their parents were Jesse Gardner and Emma Corby Carey.
Thanks
