|JohnB||RE: The Burke and Boney families of Pennsylvania|
Hello Christine, No worries.
I am Elizabeth Burke Boney's great grandson, by way of her daughter Lucy Boney and grand son, John Brislin. I just had a headstone installed for Elizabeth (as you could tell the stone looks new, but she passed away in 1960). I recently buried my father in the plot next to her...and so realized my family had not finished that very important task.
Re: Flynns. I keep a family tree on Ancestry.com which you are welcome to browse, but I do not have much information on the Flynn family. My uncles were only able to share a few stories.
Re: Dominic Burke - our common ancestor. He has been a little mystery for anyone which whom I have had contact on this side of the family because we have so little concrete information. One mystery, is that the Plymouth paper had a death notice in June 1902, but in the 1900 census, his wife lists as a widow, living with the three younger children... yet it appears Dominic is living in a separate unit (but on the same census page) up the street in Avondale Hill by himself. I have always wondered if the Dominic in the newspaper is our ancestor or someone else because of these discrepancies.
As ever, John

I appreciate that you are cautious!
But I am sure that link is correct.
1/ Roy Crayton Tysinger # 69322129
(He died in 1927 death certificate says "crushed skull")
2/ Carl Robert Robinson # 54022686
She is buried with her 2nd husband
1930 census shows her listed as a widow with her 5 youngest children
1940 census shows her married to Carl Robinson, with 4 of the 5 children from 1930, one older stepson, 2 new children and her mother, Joan (Mullis) Hancock # 68554442
I am distantly related (Ervin is only a 5th cousin) so don't need the memorial transferred to me. Better to save it for someone more closely related!

|Stella||RE: How Did You Do That?!|
Ancestry used to have that feature where you could find names of famous people related to our grandparents. It was on the one world tree, but I haven't been able to find this feature for months now.

thank you for the compliment! I try to make my photographs meaningful; I figure if I spend the time and effort doing the work, it should be done properly so others can use (or learn from) the information...

|Kitty||RE: How did they search for records of J H McNeil?|
The cemetery searched for Joseph McNeil and I supplied the year of death. They told me that the only Joseph McNeil they had died in 1932 and was a baby. If you would like to contact them yourself, the telephone number is 617-327-1010.
