Bio Photo Recent trip to Hunter Cemetery, Maury Co. Mt. Pleasant, Tn. Two large trees have fallen and one missed the McGee memorial by about 2ft. Another tree fell and has destroyed the ts of Richard Stockard and about 6 others around it.
Wayne Austin and I are trying to get volunteers to go there and moved the trees and repair the stones that are damaged/destroyed. Any suggestion on how to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated. A photo on the memorial of Richard Stockard will show part of the damage.

Born and raised in Lewis and Maury County, Tennessee. Member of the National Society of Children of the American Revolutionary War.

Maury Co., Tn has many historical cemeteries. Many Rev. War soldiers are buried in Maury Co./Lewis Co. Tn., also many Civil War Generals, War of 1812, and their soldiers.

Cemetery preservation is very important to me and I try to list from actual cemetery visits and various book listings. I have been working with Wayne Austin for the last 10 years as a volunteer contributor for his project.
Please, e-mail me with any corrections or additional information that needs to be posted at any Maury County Cemetery where you see my name via the edit option on the memorial.

If I have posted a close relative of yours let me know and I will transfer. Please use the edit option on the memorial for updates, corrections and questions, my responce will be much faster, I don't have to look up the memorial by name that way.

Campbellsville area cemeteries
Hi, Mary Bob. I was looking at the "5th great-uncle" identification you made on Hamilton Crockett Campbell's page. So which of his brothers is your ancestor? (I can claim H.C. Campbell and John Campbell.)
What can we do to separate Yokley Cemetery burials and Hannah-Yokley Cemetery burials on Findagrave? 98 of the 198 listings are in one cemetery off Hwy. 166, and 97 of the 198 are in the other cemetery off Hwy. 245. A few are unknown or duplicates. I've been working on this, but don't know how to make the changes on Findagrave. Lots of different people (including you, me, and Wayne Austin) have submitted to the combined Yokley Cemetery. You've done a ton of good work on Findagrave, so maybe you know how to accomplish this. I'm willing to put in labor on this!

LOVE Cemetery
I think this mess is why when I found out that I made a mistake in creating my cemetery page, I decided to not try to clean it up. Too many Love cemeteries and too many duplicated names.

That's why I think the first thing would be to put all the ones that are associated with the right cemetery into one package and worry about the duplicated names then. At that point, we can gather the best data from each name into one.

I made the cemetery named "Love Family" with 47 names, so naturally, I'm inclined to keep these. But once we lump them all together, maybe we can meet at the archives for a day and hash it out.

Beckum Lookup History of Mt. Joy Church
Hi cousin,

Hope this finds you doing well.

Wondered if you could look for a few names in the History of Mt. Joy Church please?

Lucinda Beckum, daughter of James & Ruth Robertson Beckum is said to have died 15 March 1885 & date is sourced from "church records"

Also wonder if her parents names show up in book also, as I cannot locate them after the 1880 census, but they may have died in Lewis County.

And are there any Tune names by chance?

Thanks a bunch!

Frederick Regenold
Regenold name
Dear Mary Bob,
I can't thank you enough for providing the info on the Regenolds. It's fascinating for me to read about my great, great grandparents. I'm 82 years old, so maybe it means a bit more to me.

You are to be commended for adding so many sites to findagrave and for making additions to the sites so quickly upon request. We need more findagrave people like you. It appears you also are generous in transferring to relatives which is highly commendable. Thank you for all you do.
