|I have been doing Genealogy for about 30 years off and on and about 5 years working on it daily since my children are grown and gone. My husband and I are both disabled so I have plenty of time to work on it. I have met some wonderful people on Find A Grave. |
I have worked on Ivy Green Cemetery by going out to the cemetery and taking pictures and then creating the memorials and fixing the pictures to the correct size. Most of the time I could only work for 1/2 hour after driving there so it took me a lot of time. I have no family in this area but found this might be a way to repay those individuals who took pictures and put them on the memorials of my family in other parts of the country. I am trying to go to other cemeteries as soon as I can recover my strength and energy from back surgery.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents as outlined in the FAQ answers at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?searchArg=transfering+memorials&page=listFaqs#79. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. If you are not within these generations, I will help in putting any info you have on the memorial.
I really love family history.

Thank you, I'll try that next!
|Joy Bradley||Edith F Bunch 43804114|
You have Edith Bunch linked to Ralph Charlton, who in turn has a number of family links. I'm trying to track down family tree information on an Edith Walker who married a Ralph Charlton. The names and dates are consistent with the information I have, but this is the first time I've run across the name Bunch associated with her.
I'm not looking to transfer the memorial, but if you have any information about her that you can share I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, Joy Bradley
Please contact me at my email address on interment.net website for the Lind, Adams Co., WA cemetery. Thanks. Marietta

Just curious as to what cemetery records you are referring?
Also, there is no record of burial of the following in the Lind Cemetery: ALLEN, Walter #47078331; BISCHOFF, Fredrick 46977887 and FREEMAN, Harlow 47226807.
The following persons are still living:
BIERMANN, Velma your #46977268 (yes, she is listed on the joint tombstone with her husband Emil)
ELKINGTON, Betty #47141813
FODE, Marin Elliott #47183661

Many thanks for doing the linking, Libby. Yes, I'm a Hanna cousin of Charity, but it's a pretty distant relationship. Your help is much appreciated. ~ Jay

I sent it several days ago. I filled in the dates and Find A Grave states they will let me know when the updates are completed. I guess I should go directly to suggestions to request dates & names so that the contributor gets the request. I am a little confused regarding the editing of a memorial.
We use to go directly to the contributor.
Again, I appreciate you updating my request.
