My research interests are the DOEL families of Wiltshire, England (1700-1900). I am a descendant of the DOEL FAMILY OF NAPANOCH, NY, headed by George Doel (1815-1873) and his wife Anna Smith Doel (1815-1900). Descendant information and an introduction to the family may be found at the website link below. |

Thank You for the excellent photo of where William and Ann Langley are buried at the Topeka Cemetery.
While I am sorry to learn they do not have a marker, you created an exceptional map as to where to graves are located. Love the detail, it will be easy to find. :-)
Your time and effort are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

May I use the photo that you contributed to the memorial page of Henry Laptad, to post on the Vermont C.W. site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Cliff, thank you so much for all the attention you have given my great uncles' burial place AND obituary. Very, very kind of you.
So, do you stalk cemeteries and do this for everyone? It's wonderful that you have the time ad initiative to do it.
If you find anything else be sure and let me know.
|D Jones||Harold Allen|
I was at Elm Lawn this week and found the location - Section 1, Lot 41 where Harold Allen is buried. I found individual headstones for Martha and Paul Allen but there was no stone for Harold. I have posted a picture of the location showing the two other Allen headstones at that location for perspective.

Wanted to let you know that I went to Elm Lawn Cemetery today but couldn't find Harold Allen. The cemetery map does not have either a Section I or a Section 1 so I was unable to track him down. If you are able to contact the cemetery again and get the section number it would be most helpful. I will go to the cemetery office next time I'm there but they are often reluctant to give information to someone who is not family.
Will give it another go,
