Hi Sandy, You posted a picture for this cemetery. The only location is Cumberland, Cumberland County. Can you tell me the location, or how to get there? Thanks, Judy
|Linda Mathew||Ishmael & Rhoda (Austin) Nichols|
Your memorials for Ishmael Nichols (#115959472), his wife Rhoda (Austin) Nichols (#115959658) and their daughter Amy Nichols (#115956488) show them all as buried in Maple Root Cemetery in Coventry. Actually, they are buried in Manchester Cemetery along with their son Arnold Nichols, whose memorial does say he is buried in Manchester. I have seen all of these stones in Manchester along with Arnold's wife Phebe. "Coventry, Rhode Island, Historical Cemeteries" by Dr. Bill Eddleman and John E. Sterling, published in 1998, also shows these graves in Manchester Cemetery, not Maple Root.

I hope you are doing better now! I have transferred Irvin Flippen's memorial to you to maintain. Please let me know if there are any other family members that I have posted that you would like me to transfer and I'd be happy to!

Thank you for the links...I have updated his memorial. Since you are family would you like me to transfer over the memorial to you? Let me know if you would like that and I'll be happy to do so. have a great day!
Hi Sandy, I noticed that you found Charles Cottrell b. 1830/son of Jesse Cottrell. That Charles is my 3rd ggf and is the only ggf that I haven't been able to locate his birth record. I've only been able to locate his marriage to Sarah Jemima as well as his kids births- just not HIS. Wondering if you could tell me where you found documentation? It would be so greatly appreciated, thank you in advance! :)
Hello Sandy, I found your photo of Jesse on here while I was researching my ancestor tree and noticed you are X3 ggd. I am wondering if you would like to exchange info on the Cottrell tree?

I just needed to thank you and let you know how much you have impacted my life and the path of my family history research.
You recorded the grave of my great-grandfather Fred Carrier in the Arnold-Pawtuxet Memorial Grave Yard in Rhode Island. Fred had lost touch with our family over 40 years ago and we had no idea where his final resting place was. Through your work with this site I was able to visit his grave just today. It was almost entirely covered over with grass and dirt, I'm afraid that if I had not gone earlier we would have never found it.
Thank you very much!

|Ruth Dowdy-McArthur||Dowdy Family History|
I am a Dowdy family historian and was checking to see about any Dowdys buried in Cumberland County, VA. I see that a few who married into the Dowdy family are memorialized in Find-A-Grave but I do not see any of the Dowdy family. Do you happen to know where any of them are buried?
Thanks very much.
