I helped co-write state laws to protect our cemeteries here in Texas. |
I've been Honored by the Texas State Senate, Texas State House of Representatives, The Dallas County Historical Commission for my work in preserving and protecting our cemeteries. I served on The State Senate Advisory Committee as well as being an Advisor to a number of cities in my area pertaining to cemeteries within their city limits. I have helped in clean ups and restoring a number of cemeteries. I believe very strongly in cemetery preservation. Cemeteries in most cases are the only history of those that came before us. Like rare books in a library once it's lost it's lost forever.
I served six years on the Duncanville City Council, two years as mayor pro-tem.
I've been working on family genealogy since 1976. I'm the wife of Wallace Richards.

I have been researching my great great grandfather, John, and found this page had information about who he was married to. I would like to know how you got the information that he was married to Josephine Humbles Groves because I cannot find any information on her and her family. Thank you in advance for your help!
