Bio

K. Jacob Ruppert is the great-great-great-grandson of New York Brewer Franz Ruppert. He is the historian and archivist for his family and is the seventh generation of the beer-brewing, baseball-loving Ruppert family that first emigrated from Gollheim in 1836 and kept a New York City presence for over 166 years. Mr. Ruppert, an attorney from New York City now working for the Louisiana State Judiciary, devotes much of his spare time to the further research and documentation of his ancestors' lives for a future biographical publication. Jacob has been educated in New Orleans, New York, France and Cuba and is single, the youngest of five children and has an identical twin brother.
