Bio and Links
Originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania my family moved to Arizona many years ago. I appreciate those FAG members who are willing to transfer my family members even though they may not be within the "4 generation" FAG guidelines. This site is not to see who can out do the next person but to connect families with relatives.

RE: Photos
The sun was not fully cooperating that day. I will be heading back out, with tools, maybe I will get a better shot.
Usually better prepared but the stone was very dirty....will be out there again this weekend. Wish me luck.

RE: Regina Scherden Dodson
Maureen,

Regina was married to my great uncle Albert Dodson, who was a brother to my grandfather Homer Dodson. My mother Ruth Ann was a daughter of Homer and Mary Dodson. I do not know the story of why she died only 5 days after marrying Albert, if my records are correct. I show they got married May 14, 1949 and she died on May 15. If you know the sad story, and don't mind sharing, I would love to have it for my records.

So sorry it took me so long to respond, I somehow missed my email showing that I had a message.

Thanks,
Thresa

Relatives
But I am related to Burkes in my tree!!! Also Hites, Yinglings, and a ton of others in the same area in Pa. I will let you know how I am related to Burkes & see if there is a connection. Thank you for the edits. I truly appreciate others who do not feel it is a numbers game. To me, it is about remembering those who have passed on & creating a memorial to them. Nice to meet to meet someone who respects the site for what it should be. Be in touch. Gail

RE: Delia Cline
Maureen,

I wish I could be of more help. When I started working on my family tree I was living in Queens near Calvary and decided to tour there looking for my own relatives. I then decided there were probably many people like myself who could be hitting brick walls in their family past. That is when I began just snapping pictures of many of many of the gravesites in Calvary and contributing them on this site. I still have many more which I have not had a chance to post yet so continue checking back.

Happy searching.

RE: St. Mary's Cemetery McKees Rocks, PA
I never noticed the map wasn't posted. Hope this link works for you, if not, let me know.

The map doesn't indicate a section H, and the office is by appointment only.
