Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired mechanical engineer with an interest in genealogy since 1976, and a home computer since 1986.

My sister first got me interested in our family history when she copied some old photos and sent them out to the family as part of her "1776 Bicentennial celebration". After years of research, we haven't found any ancestors who were rich or famous, but the real story we uncovered is better than anything we could have made up.

Interested in:
Beaver, Bower, Curran, Darlington, Dugger, Loy, Lupfer, McClure, Monasmith, Pflanz, Pollard and Schlott.

I have been working on the families of Perry County, Pennsylvania for several years now. As a result, I have registered several hundred graves there who are not related to my families, and I would be happy to transfer to a relative.

I'm also working on memorials for the alumni of Frankfurt American High School, and for the Class of 1961 of Wichita High School North. Old friends are not forgotten.

Hi Allen, Thanks so much for posting the high school pictures of my mom. She remained just as lovely, inside and out, throughout her life.

RE: Re Alfred Terry Sutley
Sorry it to me a little while. As I said Terry was a friend of my husbands, so I wasn't to sure where he was born. Knew his father, Alfred W., was in the army but didn't know where they were when Terry was born. His fathers records show he was in the service starting in 1942-1945 then again starting in 1949, so that would put them still in Kansas when Terry was born. I found family trees with that also. His mother, was from Russell and father from where my husband was born, Speed. So I am not sure what town or county. Terry lived with his grandparents off and on a lot of his life, especially after his mother died in 1955 and until his father re-married. His grandparents lived in Speed. Terry died in a plane crash in a remote area of Wyoming, Washakie County between Worland and Casper 27 days before my husband. There are newspaper articles on the crash and search for Terry and his passenger. Terry was cremated and his stone is by his grandparents and an uncle in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, KS. as you know. He was survived by a sister and a daughter. I have his obit. His sister call my husband and sent one, but I can't find it right now. If I do and it mentions where he was born I will let you know.

Re Alfred Terry Sutley
Thank you so much for adding the picture. Terry died in a plane crash about 3 weeks before my husband. His sister had called to tell him that Terry had passed. Of course I can't find any pictures of him though they were best friends, who always made connection, though though Terry was away with his family most of those years. After he returned to Kansas we would see him often and spend time playing Battleship into the wee hours of the night.
