Dennis - We linked Philip with his father. Thank you for the info.
|Les Snyder||Kenneth Lester Binnig|
I didn't realize I would be allowed to do that on someone else's managed memorial but I got it done.
|Les Snyder||Kenneth Lester Snyder|
Thanks for fixing that typo. FYI, Kenneth's middle name and my first name of Lester was our grandfathers given name. Kenny died of abdominal cancer, I know I have an obituary but for some reason I neglected to scan it so I'll have to look for the clipping and get back to you.

I think something went wrong with the family links you sent - please re-check and get back to me

Have transferred as requested. Only by all of us sharing will we make the information better for all. I am working on helping make the 200th anniversary of Elizabethville that much better. Any info/pictures you may have of Elizabethville will be appreciated.
Thanks for the heads up on John Lawrence....
Would be pleased to make your acquaintance cousin.
|G. Whitney||John Lawrence b 1667|
Thank you for sharing this information about John Lawrence. I have just started researching this line. I believe him to be my 6th great grandfather.
|Andrew Lawrence||RE: Lawrence in Minnesota|
My father and grandfather were born in St. Paul. My great grandfather Lionel Lawrence died there, but he and his ancestors were from Quebec. Lionel's parents Azariah and Emma moved from Canada to Crosby, North Dakota. Emma is buried there, but Azariah is buried in Rushmore, Minnesota.
I don't know of any connection with Donald Irving. However, my grandfather's brother's name is Donald Edward Lawrence. He's buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis in Hennepin County.

Thank you for your reply! The information I have linking the John Lawrence ancestry to Sir Robert Lawrence in 1150 is from a booklet printed in 1985 entitled "The Genealogy of the American and Canadian Descendants of John Lawrence of Wisset, Suffolk, England" by Roger & Lorraine Lawrence of Minneapolis, MN. Most of their booklet focuses on the descendants of Azariah Welcome Lawrence of Lawrenceville, Quebec (1851-1927), of which I am one.
It is a little disappointing to learn that the traditional lineage is based on faulty information. Hopefully the puzzle will eventually be solved. Again, thank you so much for sharing what you have learned.

Thanks so much for the kind words. There is just so much incorrect info out there on Ancestry and folks copying it to their own trees as well. I consider this my gift to the future generations, and I certainly want it to be correct. I do so very much appreciate the acknowledgement!
