A resident of Erie County Pennsylvania for 55 years. Have been researching my family since 1976. A descendant of James McCray who left Scotland and Ireland, settling in Concord Twp., Erie Co., Pennsylvania about 1795. I have visited and researched several cemeteries in Crawford, Erie, Venango and Warren Counties in Pennsylvania as well as cemeteries in Chautuaqua and Cattaraugus counties in New York State. I Am willing to share experiences as well as family information to those that are interested. My e-mail address is: email@example.com. Feel free to contact me. Friends and family know me best as Rusty, a nickname given to me at birth in honor of my Father's brother, Russell G. Davis who was killed at St. Lo France serving his country during the D-Day Invasion WW II.|

I think I sent you the edit on Joseph Deininger's page by mistake. Myrtle married Joseph and then Roy Dash after Joseph's death. Therefore Myrtle E Aumock Dash and Myrtle E Deininger are the same person

Could you tell how you have this name for this memorial? I can not find a death certificate and I need to locate the info. Any help would be apperiacted.

I recently requested a photo of Jason's headstone,
Below is a portion of the email response I received from some looking for the headstone.
They also reported, specifically:
This request comes up every summer, but he is not here. He is supposed to be buried at the old arsenal (War of 1812, that no longer exists) but after that, who knows. sorry, but this request will never be filled.
Please change the information about the cemetery so that others will not do the same search.

Thanks for your response. I see the problem is more complicated than I'd supposed. Good Luck' Phil
|Lynn Davis||RE: William F Davis|
You have a memorial for William F Davis born February 11, 1860, buried at Waterford Cemetery. It also states T(Thomas) M and K(Kate) A Davis as his parents. If it's the same William F Davis, the birthdate and parents are correct but, I believe he was buried at North East Cemetery, Sect. M with his wife, Mary. They also lived and worked in North East, according to the 1920 census.

Harriet Hollis daughter of Betsey Cook and Stephen Hollis, was sister to my great great grandfather Hiram C Hollis. I have history on the Hollis and McCray families I would like to share with you.

|Phil Rhodes||Woodlawn Cemetery|
There is a duplicate entry in Find A Grave for Cyrus B Millard (and his father Heman) being buried in Woodlawn Cemetery near Spartansburg. But you say they are buried in "Concord Corners Cemetery" in Erie County. These are the same cemeteries. It must be that there is no sign at this cemetery, and since it is on the Erie/Crawford county line, I can see that there is a difficulty, but we must resolve it :)

Hi Rusty You listed the year of birth for Minnie K Davis as 1846 which should be 1864. This is my husband's gg aunt. Are you related to this Davis?
|Jo Ann Kaufman||new Mayville photos|
Thanks for the new photos of Mayville Cemetery, Dennis - a big improvement over the sign only as it is such a peaceful and well-maintained cemetery.
