|Sheila Harrison||Memorial 5445058 Urkle Madge Puryear|
First, let me thank you for the work you do on Find A Grave Memorials. These memorials are such a blessing as I work on my genealogy. Orvie or Orve Walker descends from my 3rd Great-Grandparents, Robert Franklin Walker & Mary Jane Falls through their son, Thomas Benton Walker & his 2nd wife, Boone Berry Nesterole.
I was excited to notice your maiden name as I looked at the memorial for Urkle Madge Puryear!! I didn't have her surname spelled quite right and had some questions about her whole name. I had Madge or Dora for her middle name. Do you by chance know if Dora may have been a nickname?
The big question and the reason I decided to write concerns her husband and son. I have her husband's name as Orvie B. Walker and her son as Orvie B. Walker, Jr. But, I noticed on FamilySearch.org Family Tree that the husband is recorded as Orve Jay Walker. Then, on the obituary on the memorial, I see that the husband is spelled Orve and the son as Orvie. I kind of figured the initial, B, may have been for his father's middle name, Benton, but am now confused with the middle name of Jay on FamilySearch. I just now noticed the marriage record for Urkle & Orvie - his name is O. J. Walker - interesting, though, is that the place of the marriage is Jay, Oklahoma. That makes me think about my father-in-law who was called Polk Harrison because they said he was as big as Polk County, Texas. So, you can see that I am full of questions. :-)
Can you confirm any of these spellings/names as the correct ones?
Thanks so much for any assistance you can offer.
I tried to email, but the message bounced.

Very nice of you to leave a memorial to Margaret. I shows that she was the wife of Thomas Puryear. Did you get that information independently or from my family tree? Still trying to track him down. Peter
