The only Memorials that are currently UNAVAILABLE FOR TRANSFER are for those persons resting in BURR OAK CEMETERY, Burr Oak, Winneshiek County, Iowa. I am currently engaged in an overhaul of this cemetery and plan to list each burial to-date, along with Bios and relationship links. Your continued patience is appreciated.|
I have photos of nearly every CALIFORNIA Memorial that I have listed. If a headstone photos does not appear, please email me and I will readily post it.
In addition to Find-A-Grave, I am also long time transcriber & photographer for the USGenweb and CA Tombstone project. PLEASE feel free to contact me with your transcription and photograph requests any time.
!!!!~~~ PLEASE include the Cemetery, Individual's Full Name, Memorial Number and your own Contributor Number, in ALL emailed requests unless you're submitting request through F-A-G's suggestion link. !!!!~~~
***I am a tax accountant by trade and rarely have opportunity to make corrections or transfers during January-April. Please be patient as your requests are important to me.***
My goal in being a contributor is sincere and quite simple... To offer another the same comfort I have received in viewing postings of my own family members, as well as, to reward future generations with historical preservation and recordkeeping. If at any time you have question, concern or find an inaccuracy in a memorial, please holler.

If you can call Calvary Cemetery 323-261-3106 and get a grave location, I will be happy to take a photo next weekend.
|Barbara Jacobson||George Henry Decker|
There seems to be confusion over Geo.Henry Decker and Geo.Heath Decker.
On the 22 Oct 1850 Vestal Broome, NY shows age as 6/12, Parents John A and Besty A. Decker.
I need to find out who George Heath Decker was. And two cemetery plots?

Hi KC, I was hoping you could post photos for 2 of your California memorials.

I knew Robert Kilpatrick, Patti's husband and Frank's father, he is at Bakersfield National Cemetery. I was linking the family and saw they had no photos posted.
Also plots are: Patti in Lakeview 3 C 93
Frank in Lakeview 1 B 108

|Amelia Stone||Sarah "Sally" Sharp Shaw|
In researching my Ogle family, I've come across the memorial for Sarah "Sally" Sharp Shaw #19591532. I believe that the Sharp last name is in error.
My ancestor is Polly Ann Sharp, daughter of Levi Sharp b. approx 1779 in NC. I haven't traced his full line, but I have found his will in which he lists his heirs as follows: "After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts I give, devise, and bequeath unto my beloved children and step-children to wit Enos Sharp, Marinda Elam, Margaret Sweet, Polly Ann Ogle, Barbara Ogden, Edwin Morgan, Levi F. Morgan, and Martha Ann Chambers, the sum of five dollars each respectfully and also five dollars to the lawful heirs of Sarah Shaw, deceased." (Illinois, Wills and Probate Records, 1772-1999) The will was probated on May 18, 1854 in Clark County, IL, and the witness to the will is dated March 19, 1860 - WR Griffith and my ancestor Peter Ogle witnessed. Sarah Shaw died in 1852.
I looked for a marriage record for a Sarah or Sally Sharp to a Shaw, but came up with nothing. Working on the "stepchildren" hunch, I searched for Sarah Morgan and turned up an 1839 marriage in Clark County, Illinois to a William Shaw. (Illinois, County Marriages, 1810-1934). I am in the firm belief that your Sarah Shaw's maiden name would be Morgan rather than Sharp.
If you already know this or have information that countermands these beliefs, please either disregard or let me know. I tried to email, but it bounced. Thank you for your time!
Amelia C. (Ogle) Stone

|Nancy Tuohy||Looking for John Wenthold|
Hello I am thinking that John Wenthold b 1832 in Hanover, Germany is buried at St. Francis. He lived with his wife Mary in Military Township, Winneshiek, Iowa, until his death in the early 1900.
His wife my 2nd great aunt is buried at St. Francis Cemetery. I am hoping that he is also at St. Francis but cannot find a record of him.
Are you able to assist me?
Nancy Koch Tuohy

Thank you for adding this headstone of my sister who was lost so many years ago. I may never get the chance to see it and I appreciate you and your efforts. <3
RE: 19142759 . This memorial that you created is blank. Which Blackburn lineage are you seeking?
