|I have been doing genealogy since 1967 and just discovered Find-a-Grave in late 2006. My wife and I have always enjoyed walking cemeteries and wondering about the people and their stories. |
If you would like a larger version of one of the pics I have posted just ask. I usually take large pics and then have to resize them down to get them into Find A Grave. I also hereby give blanket permission to use any photographs I have taken for your personal genealogies.
If you find a person on my list and they are related to you and you want the memorial transferred to you, click Edit tab, then click Suggest a Correction, and request transfer. That way I know I'll be transferring the correct person to you. Also add your F.A.G #.
Don't send transfer requests in Messages.

Jim, my grandmother was Velma Minnick, the twin sister of Irene Minnick. If you are related to Wayne through Aunt Irene then we would be the same blood line. I am a blood relative to Irene and Velma. I am not a blood relative to Ambrose Gibson.

Hi Jim, My husband took the picture of Wayne's stone and posted it. Wayne is my cousin on his mother's side. Aunt Irene and my grandmother Velma were twin sisters. My maiden name was Klingenberger and we grew up down the road from the Aunt Irene and Uncle "Bus" (as we called him). What is your connection?
|Marcia Drake||Daniel F Gibson|
Good morning, Jim. Yes I am a relative of Daniel's. My maiden name is Gibson and I live in Convoy, Ohio, right across the state line from Fort Wayne. My line is Henry (1695), Francis (1720), Henry (1745), Joseph (1773), Joseph(1793)[and this is the generation that their apparently were several sibling that left Pennsylvania for Ohio and Indiana], Elias (1829), Patrick Frank (1856), William Henry (1884), William Francis (1906), Edwin William, my father (1928). I have a giant hole after Elias and keep trying to climb that brick wall. I am guessing you are related, also?

The next time you send a suggestion would you please go through the edit tab on the memorial; it makes it much easier to make additions/corrections. Thanks!!!

David has a connection to my family, but we are not related. I am more than happy to transfer his memorial to you. Franklin Pierce Reynard's first wife was my first cousin, 3x removed.

Definately, If you wish me to transfer it I can. I'm not into obtaining numbers. I enjoy giving each one (memorial/person) recognition. It's hard to explain I suppose. Just let me know, if you don't want a transfer then I'm just as happy take care for the memorial too.

You are very welcome. His marker was easy to find, I added a findagrave memorial for Helen as well and added the photo to hers too.

I have many names for which I am looking for burial locations for.
One is Preston W. Wheeler, d. 2/8/1943. He is listed as from San Francisco, but not in Mtn. View Cem. in Oakland, and not in the Colma cemeteries...
