|I have been doing genealogy since 1967 and just discovered Find-a-Grave in late 2006. My wife and I have always enjoyed walking cemeteries and wondering about the people and their stories. |
If you would like a larger version of one of the pics I have posted just ask. I usually take large pics and then have to resize them down to get them into Find A Grave. I also hereby give blanket permission to use any photographs I have taken for your personal genealogies.
If you find a person on my list and they are related to you and you want the memorial transferred to you, click Edit tab, then click Suggest a Correction, and request transfer. That way I know I'll be transferring the correct person to you. Also add your F.A.G #.
Don't send transfer requests in Messages.

Yeah, that is what I figured. I couldn't find an entry in the Madronia cemetery records, so I did a little research on his name, and I noticed another Find A Grave memorial, but it was at Los Gatos. Then I found his obit, and that sealed it. Thanks Jim! Deb :)

Sorry about that.
The Los Gatos memorial (6914912) was posted in the correct cemetery before you mistakenly posted yours (51676484) in Madronia.
The Los Gatos memorial for Eigen (6914912) was posted Nov 09, 2002
Your Madronia memorial for Eigen (51676484) was posted Apr 26, 2010.

Hi - I'm not related. Just found her 2 children in Sacramento City Cemetery and wanted to track down the parents. One thing led to another...you know how that goes. I don't think I'll be adding any further info. Thanks for getting back to me. Regards, Phyllis

No, I didn't create a photo request. I am in Saratoga right now visiting my family for Thanksgiving, so I thought I would go over to Madronia tomorrow and take a picture of the marker.
There is already a photo of it on her husband's memorial, but I would like a new photo. :)
Why do you ask?

I was updating memorials, and came across this one...
Marie Lea Greathead
Can you delete your pic that says there are no cemetery records of her buried there? She just passed this year and Madronia has a record of her being hurried there with her husband William.
I am not the original creator of the memorial. But, Marie died on 7/28/2014, so she is there now! :)

Okay, thanks Jim! I credited you in the comments section of the pic anyway... just because. :)
|AZEXPLORER||Can you delete 51677285 ?|
I just got an edit request from someone who pointed out that I had a duplicate memorial. When I looked closer, it seems that I have two memorials for Chauncey Shafter Goodrich:
29150273 Original created in 2008 by El Memorializer
51677285 Duplicate created in 2010 by you.
You posted a photo on the dup memorial you made in 2010. I don't want the photo to be lost. So, I copied your photo over to the original memorial, and I think we need to delete yours since yours is the duplicate.
I will transfer Chauncey back to you so you can delete it. Is that okay with you?
Also, if you would like, you can upload your photo to the original 29150273 memorial so you get credit for the photo, if that is something that matters to you. If you do, then I will delete the copy of it that I uploaded to the original memorial.
Thanks so much Jim for all you do! You help make this such an amazing effort. I appreciate you very much.
