Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Thank you so much for the photo of the headstone for Don. He is my cousin. I do not live close so this makes me feel happy.

Thank you Debe so much for taking a picture for Find A Grave of the large Lewis mausoleum at Kenyon College Cemetery. The cemetery records mention two children buried there with their parents (i.e., Anna and Edwin). But, I can't find anything else regarding the son Edwin Nevin Lewis. Do you have any information about him?

I found a photo of their marker that someone took and entered on Ancestry, but they didn't add it to Find A Grave. Appreciate your effort.
Best Regards, Cheryl S
Thank you for your time and effort to find and photograph his grave stone!

Hi, I requested a photo of Oscar & his wife Marilla markers in Workman's Cemetery, Danville, Knox, OH. You sent a message that the photo request was filled, but there is no photo of grave-markers on their graves????

Wow. Leaving flowers is such a lovely touch and so much respect for those who have passed.
My Great Granmother's names:
Calendonia (Caledonia)Callie Edna Latil; married William Eckels; then divorced and married Henry Griggsby.
The obituary gave her name as Callie Griggsby and listed Hector Latil as father and interment at the Magnolia cemetery.
Numerous Latils are buried in this cemetery. Thank you so much.
