My bio. only listed my suggestions or preferences and were not "my rules" so I have deleted them.|
I would still like to finish photographing the LA PLATA CEMETERY, located in La Plata, Macon County, Missouri when I get a chance. This will probably be my last contribution to FAG. I do request that grave photos not be added to the memorials that I have created in the La Plata cemetery since I would "prefer" to add them myself. I ask this only to help prevent others from walking the same areas of the cemetery and duplicating each others work.

Wondering if his wife Connie Van Vacter is buried by him. If so, she needs to be put in Find A Grave.

There is a photo that you have on the his find-a-grave: http://image2.findagrave.com/photos/2014/196/39084627_1405529719.jpg
I'm wondering if you have this full resolution scan/image. I'd like to attach it to my family tree. His daughter Zora Pearl was my grandma.
If you can, e-mail me: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to obtain and post excellent headstone photos for Mary Ellen (Strock) Propst and her husband, Amos Propst. It is appreciated!!
With your permission I would like to use these photos in my personal records and I would also like to possibly share them with others. I would, of course, give you your proper credits with this usage.
Thank you for your consideration

I transferred all Shiloh memorials to you that I had. If you decide you don't want some of them, you can send them back my way. It doesn't matter to me.
It has been raining every day here for weeks. Fortunately, my husband and I live on a hill and do not suffer from flooding. My heart goes out to all those that have been impacted. Part of the problem is that cities and counties allow people to build homes in dangerous areas.

I have about six more memorials in Shiloh Cemetery that I manage. You can have them if you want them. I have no connection to the people, and, as you know, I don't live in Macon County either.

They have the Tozier Cemetery index as well as other cemetery indexes at the Macon Library. They may have other info that would be of interest to you?
|Nathan Haines||Mary J. Caldwell|
The Macon County Historical Society sent me a cemetery index for Tozier Cemetery, or a copy of it rather. It has Mary Caldwell listed in it and it is absolutely 100 percent 1890 as a year of death. O's and 9's can often times be mistaken for each other if not clearly written.
But, just because this index says 1890, does not necessarily make it right. Maybe the index is the one in error???
As you well know, it cannot be 1890 and 1899 both unless she was raised from the dead in 1890?! :-]
Don't know what else to tell you. Don't know how to solve the problem, short of getting a time machine and going back and preventing the fire that destroyed the 1890 census.
